Homage and praise! The fourth is offering: including two kinds of water, enjoyment, and mandala. The five desirable qualities. The detailed verses of various offerings should be done according to the usual practice of the treasure text, or if not possible, supplement them with the concise phrases of that and the Norbu ritual. The outer offering is: water with eight qualities and without impurities, flowers, incense, lamps, perfume, and food, a vast and complete enjoyment wheel, pleasant musical sounds and various instruments. The desired qualities are unsurpassed and supreme, clouds of offerings that arise from reality or imagination, offered with devotion to the Buddhas and their retinue, please accept them with compassion for the benefit of beings. Om Ah Hum Bhagavan Maha Karunika Arya Avalokiteshvara Sapariwara Argham Pratitsa Puja Ah Hum. Similarly, add: from foot-washing water to musical instruments. The mandala is: established with prose, either extensive or concise. The immeasurable, vast, and beautiful pure lands, this precious, wish-fulfilling, all-pervading mandala, is offered so that beings may travel through the pure lands, may they effortlessly enjoy the pure lands of the noble ones. The mantra is the same as before, add: Mandala. The five desirable qualities are: all forms, sounds, smells, tastes, and touches in all directions and times, all the characteristics that satisfy the senses, offered with devotion to the Buddhas and their retinue, please accept them and grant unsurpassed accomplishments. At the end of the mantra, add: Pancha Kama Guna. Various offerings are: the Buddhas abiding in the ten directions and three times, and the assembly of bodhisattvas, such as Avalokiteshvara, all the Buddhas and their retinue of sons, all the holy assemblies in the sacred places of the scriptures, and the various unsurpassed and vast offerings that are actually available to them, or that are not grasped but emanated by the mind, are offered with great joy and respect. These excellent offerings and all the offerings of the world, all taken with the mind, are offered to Avalokiteshvara and his retinue. All the excellent offerings of divine substances, which arise in dependence, are offered to the sons of the Buddhas and their retinue, please accept them for the benefit of beings. The sixth is the recitation of the dharani: Take the dharani cord. Visualize the rays of light from the dharani mantra entwining the dharani cord and entering the vase, so that the vase is filled to the brim with a stream of nectar that grants whatever accomplishments are desired.
