Through the qualities of the four elements, the body becomes strong, stable, radiant, and full of vigor. Generate the faith that you have obtained all the lifespan and merit of the container and its contents, and the blessings of the Victorious One, Amitayus. Thirdly, in order to clear away the obscuration of innate ignorance, like a cataract, please imitate this supplication: Kyeho! Samantabhadra Lama Amitayus, we who are wandering in samsara due to ignorance, with eyes like those of a blind person, today beseech the Protector to clear it away! Thus supplicate. The master opens the eye-covering: Kye! Just as the eye-doctor king of the past, how he cleared away the blindness of ignorance, I, with the golden needle of skillful means and wisdom, will clear away the habitual ignorance of you.
