眼见五浊恶世的众生寿命短促，常受障碍和因缘的支配。为了救度他们，无数次地造作了长、中、短的无量寿佛修法，并埋藏为伏藏。现在是各个伏藏师取出各自的权份，利益众生的时候。这正是大持明者达香能登多吉甚深伏藏中产生的长寿修法，秘密总集双运精要摄略之坛城灌顶。对此，如大小乘所说，必须具备清净的内外两种条件。简而言之，法身是无量光，报身是无量寿，化身是邬金莲师，直到根本上师。上师对下属的加持传承没有中断，四大灌顶之河流没有衰减，具备三坛城修法的诀窍没有错谬，这些都是清净的内涵。对于如此长寿灌顶，深信不疑的长寿持明上师传承，从长寿坛城获得灌顶后，消除长寿的障碍，想要获得佛果的虔诚信仰，以及生起上师与无量寿佛无二无别的敬信，这三种信心就是清净的外器。像这样，在内外两种清净条件都具备的时候，为了向上师祈请长寿灌顶，请复诵这段话： 祈祷上师无量寿， 为了我和一切众生， 为了从非时死亡中解脱， 不死本来金刚寿， 今天祈请怙主赐予我。 （念诵）三遍。 第三，在无量寿佛面前，为了自他证得菩提而皈依发心，请复诵这段话： 诸佛总集无量寿， 我等皈依祈悲悯， 忏悔一切诸罪堕， 愿诸众生速成佛。 （念诵）三遍。 以共同的皈依发心，安住于别解脱和菩萨戒的意义上。第四，为了安住于身语意的誓言，将手印金刚杵放在弟子的头上。 吽！ 不变秘密殊胜者， 金刚之身汝获得， 此乃汝之誓言也， 汝子如法安住之。 班杂萨玛雅 依当度 吽！（藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思） 将誓言水放入嘴里。

Seeing that sentient beings in the degenerate age have short lives and are subject to obstacles and circumstances, in order to save them, countless long, medium, and short practices of Amitayus were created and hidden as treasures. Now is the time for each treasure revealer to extract their respective shares and benefit beings. This is precisely the long life practice that arose from the profound treasure of the great vidyadhara Taksham Nuden Dorje, the empowerment of the mandala of the secret compilation of the essence of union. For this, as explained in the Greater and Lesser Vehicles, it is necessary to have both pure inner and outer conditions. In short, the Dharmakaya is Amitabha, the Sambhogakaya is Amitayus, the Nirmanakaya is Orgyen Padmasambhava, up to the root guru. The lineage of blessings from the guru to the subordinates has not been interrupted, the flow of the four great empowerments has not diminished, and the key points of the practice of the three mandalas are without error, these are the pure essence. For such a long life empowerment, have unwavering faith in the lineage of the long life vidyadhara guru, after receiving empowerment in the long life mandala, eliminate the obstacles to long life, have the devotion of wanting to attain Buddhahood, and generate devotion and faith in the inseparability of the guru and Amitayus, these three kinds of faith are the pure outer vessel. Like this, when both pure inner and outer conditions are present, in order to request the long life empowerment from the guru, please repeat this: Alas, Guru Amitayus, For the sake of myself and all beings, In order to liberate from untimely death, The immortal, primordial, vajra life, Today, I pray that the protector bestow it. (Recite) three times. Third, in front of Amitayus, taking refuge and generating bodhicitta for the sake of oneself and others attaining enlightenment, please repeat this: Amitayus, the collection of all Buddhas, I go for refuge, please hold me with compassion, I confess all faults and downfalls, May all sentient beings quickly attain Buddhahood. (Recite) three times. With the common refuge and bodhicitta, abide in the meaning of individual liberation and bodhisattva vows. Fourth, in order to abide in the vows of body, speech, and mind, place the hand seal vajra on the disciple's head. Ho!
