The immeasurable merits of the Buddhas of the three times, the faith and diligence of all sentient beings, the ultimate perfection of the two accumulations of merit and wisdom, I rejoice in all virtues. The unchanging Vajra Life Deity of the three times, the glory of great compassion that pervades all, through the three kayas and activities of great blessings, I urge you to turn the wheel of Dharma. May the three kayas and activities be continuous, until the ocean of samsara is empty. For the sake of all sentient beings equal to space, I pray that you do not pass into sorrow and remain. I prostrate to you, the Bhagavan, and offer prayers, etc. Whatever roots of virtue all beings have, for the sake of attaining the state of omniscience and all-knowing, I dedicate them to the great unsurpassed Bodhi. Recite this three times or once. Then, make the supplication: Focusing on those who have come into the sky, Bhagavan, Protector Amitayus, all the deities of the lineage with their retinues, grant me, the supreme practitioner, the empowerment and blessings, I pray that you bestow the supreme Vajra life accomplishment. Having prayed in this way three times, the nectar descends from the Guru's vase into the vase of Amitayus, and descends from the Brahma aperture of myself. Thinking that the five families of Amitayus have come to the crown of my head, inseparable from myself and the deity in front of me, and are bestowing empowerment. To the deities of the individual Samaya-sattvas, merge the Jnana-sattvas, without duality, and abide. The non-dual bliss, on the crown of the deity, becomes the lord of the Maha Guru lineage. In this way, think that Samaya and Jnana have become inseparable. Thus, having clearly visualized all the deities of the mandala inseparable from myself and the deity in front of me, from the light rays of the syllable ཨཿ (Tibetan: ཨཿ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal Chinese meaning: A) at the heart of the main deity, the sound of the mantra wheel of the essence is emitted. And light radiates from the mantra. The essence of the minds of all Buddhas of the three times, and the life and glory of all sentient beings of the three realms, are gathered and merged, dissolving into oneself, transforming into the essence of immortal wisdom life. Then practice the completion stage: The outer world and inner beings, including the protective circle, the palace, and the surrounding deities, all dissolve into oneself, the main deity, the father and mother. The Ah also, like smoke dissolving into the sky, dissolves into the Dharmakaya, the unborn, uncreated, free from elaboration, great clear light. Recite thus, and rest in that state for a while. Then, like a fish leaping from the water, oneself appears as Amitayus, the main deity and retinue, as clear as if seen with one's own eyes. Thus, oneself and the deity in front are inseparable, and light radiates from the Ah at the heart, illuminating the space in front, and all the wisdom deities of Maha Guru Amitayus descend. Recite and contemplate thus. The longevity arrow is held by the master himself, and as many of the above longevity dharanis as possible are recited, and breath is blown onto the arrow, invoking longevity, while waving the arrow banner: Blessed Lord Amitayus!
