Then, from emptiness, the letter Phe (ཕེ་) truly arose. After that, meditate on the King of Awareness. For the terrifying nine-headed black serpent, the black serpent's hair is as thick as darkness. The central serpent head devours poison, the eight serpent heads sway in all directions. In the heart is the letter Phe (ཕེ་), surrounded by four seed syllables. The feet trample many vows and sins. Until the letters are clear, the four life-sustaining letters are the essence of the wisdom deity, showing radiant letters. Om Phe Lam Hum (ཨོཾ་ཕེ་ལཾ་ཧཱུྃ，Om Phe Lam Hum). As it becomes clear, signs appear. Muscle twitching and spasms, leg trembling and drool licking occur, consciousness becomes coarse. Wrapped in sheepskin, it is placed at the time when the nāgas do not retreat, and consecrated. Without the offering of one gold srang, it cannot be obtained. If there is no gold, write with Chinese ink. If three wheels are worn, even if billions of nāgas gather, it is certain that they will not be harmed. This is the profound protection of Manjushri Nāgaraksha, which not everyone has. Very profound རྒྱཿརྒྱཿརྒྱཿ Homage to the Black Lord of Death with nine heads! The tantra that protects the great ocean poison mountain; the wheel of weapons and actions; the means to accomplish the enemy of the nāgas; the letters of protection are used separately. First, meditate on emptiness; then, one's own essence is the letter PHE; from that, meditate on the great black serpent; the great serpent head devours enemies and obstacles; the eight serpent heads watch the four directions; from the tangled hair of the black serpent, leprosy and scabies are emitted with a "tsa tsa" sound; the eight right hands hold serpent lassos; the eight left hands hold bags of disease; the serpent's tail coils on the surface of the ocean; seated on a cushion of the four nāga clans; it devours the heart and liver of degenerate men and women; the life-sustaining letter in the heart is PHE; from that is the wisdom hero, the black serpent father and mother, the size of a thumb; surrounded by the four hero syllables; likewise, understand the mother as well. Then, also invite and absorb the wisdom hero with the mind; whatever is done at night, recite these four syllables during the day; in the generation of the wisdom hero, at the main point, collect جمع (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Meaning) ཕེ་ལཾ་ཧཱུྃ, phe laṃ hūṃ, Phei Lang Hum. Om جمع (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Meaning) ཨོཾ་ཕེ་ལཾ་ཧཱུྃ, oṃ phe laṃ hūṃ, Om Phei Lang Hum. This is said to be the supreme protection, as well as the practice of nāga rakshasas, etc. If signs of reversal occur, recite the garland of fourteen mantras, thereby binding the nāgas. If meditating on the wheel, it is either the common or one's own wheel; in the center of the common wheel, draw the Dharma wheel; in between, surround it with the four hero syllables; between the final spokes are the four nāga clans; again, surround it in order with the four syllables; in the center are the nāga demon father and mother; on the spokes are the eight nāga demon fathers and mothers; generate from the letter PHU; if reversed, fiercely spin the wheel; abide in its own nature.
