Said. Recall all the joys and sorrows, attachments and aversions, etc., in your mind, and look for what essence is in them. If you recognize the flaws of unreality, then relax and abide in the state of non-thought. Sixth, to bring it to rest in its natural state: On a comfortable cushion, relax the body naturally; say nothing with your mouth; do not follow the thoughts of the three times with your mind, but abide equally in the original state of non-thought. Seventh, there are three ways to return to the original position: First, to abide: The body takes the posture of a Shravaka, the eyes look down at the tip of the nose, and the thoughts are maintained without fabrication. When distracted, observe the distractor; when agitated, bring it to rest; when dull, lift up the spirit; when depressed, stretch out; when drowsy, shake yourself up. Second, to maintain stability in the middle: The body sits in the lotus position, sitting comfortably in the posture of a Bodhisattva, the gaze is straight and slightly closed. Place both distraction and abiding in a state of non-duality and equality. Cut off the clinging to bliss, clarity, non-thought, and emptiness. Like throwing a snake knot into the sky, effortlessly abide in a state of non-action. Third, to ultimately liberate it: The body makes the Vajra dance posture of a wrathful deity, stretching the limbs like a giant, the gaze is fierce, and the mouth emits the laughter of a wrathful deity such as "Haha (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思)", "Hehe (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思)", "Hum Hum (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思)", "Phat Phat (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思)", etc., bringing it to rest in its natural state. The mind should abide in a state of clear awareness and full of strength. Samaya. Second, the main practice has four parts: cutting off thoughts; searching for the flaws of the mind; observing the three places of arising, abiding, and ceasing; and reaching the ultimate goal through recognition. First, cutting off thoughts: Observe the instigator of the actions of body, speech, and mind. Once caught, inquire in detail about its nature, color, shape, and dwelling place, etc. Second, searching for the flaws of the mind: Look for where the "I" that clings to "I" is, ask where it dwells, look for the instigator of clinging, and destroy the fortress of ego-clinging. Third, observing the three places of arising, abiding, and ceasing: When a thought suddenly arises, where does it first arise from? How does it abide in the middle? Where does it ultimately go? By inquiring and investigating through various methods, if one knows that the place of arising is emptiness, the clinging to abiding disappears, and it is purified without support, then that is revealing the flaws of the three places of arising, abiding, and ceasing. Fourth, there are also seven ways to recognize after certainty has arisen: First, recognizing that thoughts are mind: Because afflictions and clinging to self, etc., do not go beyond this range.

Firstly, generate certainty that it arises from mind and dissolves into the place. Secondly, introduce the emptiness of mind: Know that all thoughts, including the subjective consciousness, are without any substance in their nature, like the sky. Thirdly, introduce the emptiness of appearances: Whatever appears is the unobstructed manifestation of the luminosity of emptiness; know that in the very moment of appearance, it never deviates from the state of emptiness. Fourthly, introduce the inseparability of appearance and emptiness: The collection of all thoughts is the emptiness without substance in its nature; the self-light of emptiness is the appearance that manifests unhindered; be certain that these two are without separation, free from good and bad, acceptance and rejection. Fifthly, introduce the self-liberation of non-duality: Good and bad, samsara and nirvana, acceptance and rejection, appearance and emptiness, distraction and abiding, etc., all phenomena grasped as dualistic are self-liberated in the state of non-dual equality in their essence. Sixthly, the self-liberation of the five poisons: Once this is realized, all thoughts of the five poisons will self-liberate like drawings on water, thereby manifesting the intention of the five wisdoms. Seventhly, the self-liberation of the six consciousnesses: As an example, whatever thought arises in the realm of the six consciousnesses, by placing it in the state of self-awareness, form appearances as emptiness, sound reverberations as emptiness, smell sensations as emptiness, taste experiences as emptiness, tactile sensations as emptiness, and dharma cognition as emptiness, all thoughts are self-liberated. In this way, directly give the introduction in the present moment and make a decision in the present moment. Bring all the intentions of the Sugata Buddhas, the essence of all scriptures and treatises, down to the single nature of mind: Determine that all appearances are inseparable from the nature of mind. As it is said in the tantra: "The nature of mind is the complete Buddha; do not seek the Buddha elsewhere." Settle into the state of liberation: Thus, in the self-liberated, uninterrupted, and beyond-thought Dharmakaya, that very awareness of self-liberation, only abide in it without distraction. Thus, fundamentally, without cultivating the nature of mind in an artificial way, but letting it be natural, this is the profound instruction of Trekchö, the heart essence of Kuntuzangpo, the Great Perfection Atiyoga. Samaya. Thirdly, learning to accomplish the ultimate result: After such an introduction, without any need for cultivation, and without a moment's distraction, in the state of uncreated self-awareness, immerse yourself in the continuous yoga of practice like a flowing river, thereby reaching the three times.
