Delighting in flesh and blood as food, Diligent in killing and cutting as work. The innocent bear witness, the Three Jewels are present! Except for enemies and obstructors, step aside! Eight Heruka deities with your armies, Accomplish the entrusted tasks! Then, in the middle of the kalpa of time, In the cave of Yangleshö in Nepal, The great teacher Padmasambhava and The learned disciple Vimalamitra, When they opened the mandala of Vajradhātu, The protectors of Vajradhātu and their retinues, Having shown their supreme and sacred forms, Did you not promise to take the torma of the command? Did you not promise to prolong the life of the yogi? Did you not promise to accomplish the entrusted tasks? Not transgressing the oath you made in the past, Accept this torma adorned with flesh and blood, Arouse your samaya, lineage, and accomplish the entrusted tasks! Then, in the lower part of the kalpa of time, In the spontaneously accomplished temple of Samye (བསམ་ཡས་，Samye), The great teacher Padmasambhava and The noble disciples, king, ministers, and friends, When they opened the mandala of Yangsang Peaceful and Wrathful, All the oath-bound ones of the Eight Herukas gathered, Having shown their supreme and sacred forms, Did you not promise to take the torma of the command? Did you not promise to prolong the life of the yogi? Did you not promise to accomplish the entrusted tasks? Not transgressing the oath you made in the past, Accept this torma adorned with flesh and blood, Arouse your samaya, lineage, and accomplish the entrusted tasks!
