Hūṃ hrīḥ ṭhā. Bless the offerings by reciting this mantra. Sprinkle the cremation substances with nectar and touch them with the one-pointed vajra mudra, reciting: Oṃ svāhā. With the same mudra, touch the yam wood, reciting: Oṃ āḥ svāhā. Touch the clarified butter, reciting: Oṃ śrīṃ svāhā. Touch the grains, reciting: Oṃ jriṃ svāhā. Touch the other substances, reciting: Oṃ kuru kuru svāhā. Purify all the impurities and faults of the substances, making them empty. From emptiness, visualize that all the substances have the essence of nectar, arising from the first letter of their respective names, adorned with a bindu, possessing all qualities, capable of accomplishing their respective tasks without obstruction, and endowed with great power. Recite: Oṃ bimala agnaye svāhā. And so on, bless by reciting the mantras of the substances three times each. Light the fire with smoke-free fire produced from rubbing wood or from a monastery. Recite: Oṃ jvala jvala hūṃ. Fan with a fan, reciting: Hūṃ hūṃ hūṃ. Nourish it also with clarified butter from a ladle, reciting "Hūṃ" seven times. Then, sprinkle the spotless blue-green kuśa grass with water from the activity vase, reciting: Oṃ amṛta kuṇḍalī sarva vighnān nāśaya hūṃ phaṭ. Purify it, reciting: Oṃ. This kuśa grass is pure and auspicious, it is the purifier of Brahmā and the gods, it pleases the Three Jewels, it is the heart of the lotus born from the earth. I pray that it pacifies all my obstacles and brings auspiciousness. Svāhā. Having said this, spread out pairs of kuśa grass with their tips aligned, starting from the opening of the stove on the left side of the practitioner, with the tips pointing towards the east, south, west, and north, and the tips of the back ones pressing down on the roots of the front ones. Then, cover the stove with kuśa grass with the tip pointing east, like the ear of a cow, not too long. The root is: Then purify the kuśa grass with the mantra of swirling nectar, purify with the fire of a Brahmin's house or rubbing wood, purify by fanning with a fan, etc. This is the meaning. Then, purify the stove. From emptiness, from the syllable "Hūṃ" (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), visualize a peaceful stove, white in color and round in shape, with an edge and an opening, in the center of various lotuses is a five-pronged vajra, and the opening is surrounded by a vajra chain, and the four corners are marked with half-moon vajras, and clear and unobstructed rays of light radiate everywhere.
