Hum! The body, speech, and mind of the King of Wisdom, may qualities and activities greatly increase, for the sake of immediate union, grant me the Vajra of Space! Recite three times. Ho! Transform yourselves, the cause of Samantabhadra, into the blood-drinking Heruka Vajrakumara, and visualize in his heart the Guru Vajradragpo Tsal, together with the eight classes of accomplishment, clearly appearing. Holding the vase of nectar, in an instant visualize the outer vase as a palace, the main deity of the vase essence, Vajrakumara, the Lord of the lineage, Guru Vajradragpo Tsal, together with the body mandala, and the eight classes of accomplishment in all directions, in short, all the deities of the vase practice appearing vividly and residing, with this empowerment, a stream of Bodhicitta empowerment water flows from the union of the deities, flows from the mouth of the vase, and empowers you from the crown of your head, washing away the impurities of inside and out, fulfilling the position of the four wheels, purifying the four obscurations, and wishing to obtain the four empowerments. Ho! The essence of empowerment is the Dharmakaya, which is not lost to self-luminous awareness, therefore obtaining self-mastery. The empowerment is inconceivable, the outer is the empowerment of the substance of the vase, the inner is the empowerment of the channels and winds, the secret is the empowerment of the bindu bodhicitta, and the most secret and supreme is the empowerment of the power of awareness. As it is said that there are four empowerments, here is the outer vase empowerment, so please understand the meaning of the empowerment. Hūṃ! The vase is the king of empowerments, the round shape is the symbol of the Dharmadhatu, the pure water is the stream of bodhicitta, the five grains represent Vairocana, the five essences are Vajrasattva, the five jewels are the essence of the five elements, the five incenses represent Amitabha, and the five medicines represent Amoghasiddhi. The neck cord reveals the mudra of the gate, the crown is the Sambhogakaya, the mantra cord transmits the light of the Nirmanakaya, touching the body purifies obscurations, and understanding the mind purifies thoughts. Oṃ! The Dharmakaya is unborn, so it purifies afflictions, awareness recognizes its own nature, so it increases wisdom, compassion is uninterrupted, so the Nirmanakaya appears, may you receive the empowerment to recognize your own self-born nature!
