Temporarily, you have the capacity to meditate on the path of the four empowerments, and ultimately, you are made capable of attaining the state of the four kayas. Maintain this unwavering faith. To convey these signals and to inspire the samaya with a pleasant melody, chant: Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum)! Emanation of the Victorious Ones, Padmasambhava! With compassion, consider the Tibetan people! Body representative prophecy, speech representative treasure! The intention of the mind entrusted to the fortunate son! To save from suffering, bestow the Guru's empowerment! Pray bless the fortunate ones! Guru's compassion, please bless this! Afterwards, in order to know it is accomplishment. Visualize the deity of the torma dissolving into light, the torma food transforming into the nature of accomplishment, experience it condensing into the essence of nectar, pervading all the channels. Fill the mindstream with uncontaminated bliss. Generate the confidence of obtaining all supreme and common accomplishments. Thus instruct, and give the actual torma food, or give it mixed with nectar in a ring-like shape around the edge. Finally, in order to tame beings and bestow the longevity empowerment, repeat this supplication three times. Protector of beings, Padma Amitayus! Buddhas of the three times, Lord of Life, Father and Mother! We supplicate, dissolve the obstacles to life!
