Adorn the earth with Dharma robes, in the center of the rainbow-lit mandala, abide in a joyful manner. Hūṃ! (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: 吽) On the outer eight petals, upon the red and white seats of skillful means and wisdom, in order, is Padmasambhava (Tibetan: པདྨ་འབྱུང་གནས།), blue in color, with a vajra in his right hand and a threatening mudra in his left, inseparable union with his own light consort. Padma Sambhava (Tibetan: པདྨ་སཾ་བྷ, Sanskrit Devanagari: padma saṃbha, Sanskrit Romanization: padma sambha, Literal Chinese meaning: Lotus Born) with a white and purplish-red face, a vajra in his right hand and a skull cup in his left, in the aspect of a monk, with red rays of light, possessing wisdom and supreme desire, with a clear white complexion.
