May the sound of the conch shell of the Brahma realm fill the space, May the skull cup be filled with the essence of nectar, May the phurba destroy obstacles, enemies, and obstructing spirits, May the khatvanga sever the root of the three poisons, May the iron hook gather all appearances under control, May the lasso bind all afflictions, May the burning iron chain subdue the four maras, May the hand drum proclaim the sound of dharma free from conceptualization, These are the compassionate, wish-fulfilling implements, Symbolizing the meaning of the unborn dharmakaya, By bestowing empowerment upon the supreme son, May you realize the meaning of Samantabhadra's intention, And may all beings attain the supreme accomplishment of maturation and liberation! Fourth, the empowerment of qualities: Visualize yourselves adorned with six bone ornaments, eight charnel ground garments, precious jewels, and silk streamers. Give the tsakli. Thus, you will have power over the enjoyment of all the victorious ones, the play of wish-fulfilling jewels, and you will attain the fruit of the immutable vajra body! Fifth, the empowerment of activities: Bestow the implements for listening, explaining, and meditating, and grant permission to follow. Torma. Items for listening, explaining, and meditating. Place the torma of the support for practice and say: Hūṃ hrīḥ! To accomplish the lama, yidam, and dakini, and to master the profound meaning of generation and completion stages, the activities of hearing, thinking, and meditating are unimpeded. Having bestowed this empowerment to benefit oneself and others, strive to accomplish the activities of all the Victorious Ones. May I obtain the power to act impartially for the benefit of beings. Third, the empowerment of the secret Vajra Acharya. In order to request the two empowerments that generate the realization of self-benefit as Samantabhadra and that initiate the activity of maturing others, offer the mandala. Recite this supplication after me. Kye ho! Teacher, please pay attention! In the mandala of the Three Roots, the empowerment of the Vajra Acharya's speech, please bestow it upon me with love. Meditate that you are sitting on a vajra jewel throne supported by lions, as Samantabhadra, the lord of all families, holding the vajra and bell, with a dark blue body adorned with ornaments, and believe that all the qualities of the lama's realization have been transferred to the student's being. Hūṃ hrīḥ! This indivisible method and wisdom, the empty-appearing vajra and bell, hold this inseparable and always. You, Samantabhadra Vajradhara, the essence of emptiness and compassion, please guide all beings.
