Ultimately, one will surely and easily accomplish the state of the protector Amitayus and immeasurable wisdom, which is entirely established by reason. Again, it is said: From the heart essence of Padmakara, the essence of the accomplishment of the well-arrived, deathless vidyadhara, the undiminished blessing and nectar of Buton's lineage, the quintessence of the oral transmission instructions is here! Friends, if you wish to live long in this precious human body that is difficult to find, come here! Obtain this vajra knot in your heart, and the indestructible pillar of life will surely be firm. Thus, it was written by the wandering Dari Dra, a monk named Lobsal, who is free from bias. May all limitless beings dance in the land of immeasurable light and life through this virtue! First, in a suitable place, on a beautiful platform, draw a mandala with eight lotus petals made with blue lines, or on top of nine flower clusters, place a longevity vase on a low table, with a vajra, sun, moon, jewel, and Nada symbol on top, surrounded by longevity pills. In front of it, on the right side, place a vase with a neck cord, filled with essence. Behind it, place an arrow banner. On the left, place longevity wine. Surround it with offerings. In front of the teacher, place a torma for dispelling obstacles, gugul, mustard seeds, and other necessary items such as a damaru and bell. Sit comfortably on your seat, and with the intention of benefiting all sentient beings, generate a special virtuous mind, thinking, "May I attain the great accomplishment of longevity!" Second, the main part: Accomplishing the activity vase before the self and front generation; offering the preliminary torma; meditating on the protective circle; and the four blessings of the place. First: Instantly, transform yourself into the form of Hayagriva Heruka. Visualize that from the radiant body of Hayagriva playing in the activity vase, minute particles of vajra nectar descend, filling the vase.
