Without differentiating between accomplished and unaccomplished activities, it is also said in the Samadhiraja Sutra: 'From above to the formless realm, that is what leads to bliss.' Therefore, like this, the light emanating from the syllable Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,literal meaning: Hūṃ) fills the inside of the body as if painted with colors. In short, even the smallest pores at the ends of the hair follicles are firmly sealed, so until the feeling arises that even the flow of breath in and out is uncomfortable, meditate with clear and stable focus. The third is gathering the wind and mind: Like this, in the center of the body, which is a vast emptiness free from obscurations and hindrances, visualize the central channel (uma nadi) straight, white on the outside and red on the inside, about the thickness of a willow branch or a medium-sized arrow shaft. It is like the mouth of a conch shell turned upwards, with the upper end slightly widened and inserted into the Brahma aperture at the crown of the head. The lower end gradually becomes thinner and thinner, reaching about four fingers below the navel. It has four characteristics: What are the four? Straight like a tree by the water, clear like a butter lamp, transparent like a glass vase, thin like a lotus petal. For example, visualize it as straight and transparent as if a clear crystal pillar were erected. When it becomes clear, at the upper end of the central channel at the crown of the head, visualize the syllable Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,literal meaning: Hūṃ), the nature of great bliss, pointing downwards, with a stream of white bodhicitta about to drip. At the lower end of the central channel, visualize a wind mandala as a seat, shaped like a cross, light and moving. Above that, within the lower end of the central channel, visualize the essence of consciousness, a white bindu (thigle), about the size of a Tibetan pea, white and shimmering, oily and round, light and moving. This should also be visualized. If you have not gained familiarity and stability with this, then even if you practice, it is meaningless. Therefore, do not think from the beginning whether it will become clear or not, but visualize it clearly step by step. Do not be distracted elsewhere, but focus your awareness single-pointedly on it and meditate. In this state, if ordinary conceptual thoughts suddenly arise, seize them with bare awareness from the moment they arise, completely cut off the thoughts, roll them into a ball, and place them on top of the bindu, abiding there without artifice or distraction. By meditating diligently in this way, the artificial and changing thoughts will cease, and when the image of the bindu becomes clear and bright, focus on it single-pointedly, and even during breaks between sessions, always remember it.
