If there is water elsewhere, wouldn't it be an illusion? Answer: Because there is no water there, it is an illusion, not because the water is brought there. If the water is brought there, it will not be an illusion. It is also incorrect to assume that what one thinks in one's mind is the truth, because even if one thinks of numbers like one hundred, one will make the same mistake. After explaining the valid cognition of non-conceptual direct perception, when explaining the valid cognition of conceptual inference, some conceptual thoughts are based on correct signs. Others are hidden. Because for one's own appearance, it is not a valid cognition, but clinging to one's own appearance as real is not deceptive. If it is said that the knowable and the known are the same, it is unreasonable for the Vijnanavada. Answer: Because there is no true nature. As the explanation says: 'The objects of sound and conceptual thought are both false, because false things have no reality, so how can one know it?' This is the truth. As the great scholar Bha-bya said: 'Therefore, the object of inference, although it cannot be established as true, it can eliminate the opposite of not knowing the truth.' Explain it extensively like this. Give an example to illustrate that when conceptual thought recognizes an object, there is no obstacle in reasoning: Just like the certainty that arises after correct memory and direct perception, although it is not a valid cognition, there is no obstacle in reasoning for the objects of these two cognitions. If inference is not a valid cognition, because the particularity of smoke on fire, etc., does not follow, and only the generality of fire, then it has already been established in the example, and it becomes a redundant argument. Answer: The object of inference is to hold and recognize the being distinguished by non-being negation, or the generality of the collection. Being able to be held and recognized, following is done by the nature of the dharma. Explain the reason and relationship of not deceiving: Inference is related to the object and its result through the cause and the holding of the cause. Because the thing inferred through the cause is known from the cause, this is inference. Fourth, explaining the two truths of one's own school, the first is the definition: For the things recognized by the saints from beginningless time, if taking it as an object will produce all afflictions, that is the conventional truth; if taking it as an object will produce purity, that is the ultimate truth. The second definition: The unreal, completely imputed is the completely imputed imputed by the minds and mental factors of the three realms, the nature of other-dependence is the conventional truth, and its dharmata emptiness is the ultimate truth. This explains impermanence. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And the view of clinging to permanence regarding objects of suffering and compassion, etc., eliminates the pure object, which is the ultimate truth. The unreversed, perfectly established nature is also the ultimate truth. In the commentary on the Guhyasamāja Tantra, 'A Handful of Flowers,' it says: 'Asanga and Nāgārjuna have the same tenets, and it is a fault to consider them different.' The two 'existences' among the four existences accepted by the Mahāyāna are the existences of the two truths. The completely imputed is the existence established by conceptual thought, and the non-erroneous conceptual thought, the other-dependent, is the subsequent existence. Having explained that one's own tenets are endowed with valid cognition, the second point, that they are endowed with scripture, is explained. The term 'Sūtra' refers to the unerring scriptural authority of those of us who proclaim the three natures as emptiness, following the teachers Nāgārjuna, Jñānacandra (Wisdom Moon), Buddhajñānapāda (Buddha Wisdom Foot), and others. These include scriptures such as the Saṃdhinirmocana Sūtra (Explication of the Thought), the Ghanavyūha Sūtra (Dense Array), and the Laṅkāvatāra Sūtra (Descent into Laṅka), which explain the three natures as definitive meaning. From these scriptures, which definitively ascertain the ultimate truth, it is known that the completely imputed lacks the nature of how it is imputed; the other-dependent lacks the nature of arising from itself; and the perfectly established lacks the nature of being empty of inherent existence. As stated in the Ornament of the Sūtras: 'Knowing the emptiness of non-existence, likewise knowing the emptiness of existence, knowing the emptiness of inherent existence, is said to be knowing emptiness.' It is said. As it is without inherent existence, so it is unborn; as it is without inherent existence, so it is unceasing; as it is without inherent existence, so it is patient, peaceful, and naturally in nirvāṇa. Whatever our proof is will become a harm to you. All false speech, erroneous scriptural authority, such as the Mahāyāna's Great Mirror of Dharma and the Great Faith Sūtra, state: 'Bodhisattvas who do not practice the Dharma according to the literal meaning will generate twenty-eight incorrect views. These root views arise from the imprints of the mind, viewing the meaning of no inherent existence, no birth, etc., as a non-obstructive sign like space, and clinging to this, thereby slandering the three natures with three views; as well as clinging to reasoning that refutes existence; altering many scriptures; denying everything when questioned; speaking deceitfully; and not repenting even when correctly refuted, being stubbornly ignorant; and not being a true refutation, etc.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
