It is experienced from the second birth onwards in that life. Furthermore, there are three types of karma: purely white karma, purely black karma, and mixed black and white karma. In order, they are: both thought and action are virtuous, both thought and action are non-virtuous, and either thought or action is virtuous or non-virtuous. Third, there are four aspects to explaining the meaning of the definition. The definition of cause is: the active cause that leaves imprints for rebirth in future existences. The arising is: the active cause by which sentient beings who have accumulated similar karmic imprints arise in similar realms of existence. The excellent arising is: the active cause by which even beings of the same realm of existence arise with distinct and separate forms. The condition is: the active cause that causes a body not yet obtained to be obtained, and causes a body already obtained to pass away. Third, regarding the truth of cessation, there is the definition, the establishment of the basis, and the explanation of the meaning of the definition. First, the definition is: the truth that is to be realized by yogis who have completely severed and manifested the aspects of cessation, peace, excellence, and definite emergence. Second, there are also nine types of cessation that possess that definition: The imputed cessation is: the cessation in which the seeds to be abandoned are weakened by worldly karma. The ultimate cessation is: the cessation in which the seeds to be abandoned are uprooted by the path beyond the world. The incomplete is: the cessation encompassed by the fruit of the noble learner. The complete is: the cessation encompassed by the fruit of the non-learner. The adorned is: the cessation encompassed by the fruit of liberation from both aspects. The unadorned is: the cessation encompassed by the fruit of the liberation of wisdom. The with remainder is: the cessation in which all defilements have been abandoned, but the contaminated aggregates have not yet ceased. The without remainder is: the cessation in which all contaminated aggregates have ceased. The particularly excellent cessation is: the cessation that does not abide on the extremes of existence and peace. Third, there are four aspects. The aspect of cessation is: being separated from all causes, karma, and defilements. Peace is: being separated from all future suffering as a result. Excellence is: being separated from both of these, therefore being of the nature of purity and bliss in the ultimate sense. Definite emergence is: being of the nature of permanent benefit. Fourth, regarding the truth of the path, there are three aspects: the definition, the establishment of the basis, and the explanation of the meaning of the definition. First, the definition is: the path, accomplishment, reason, definite

The truth that yogis should cultivate after completely severing the obscurations. The second part has five: the path of accumulation, the path of preparation, the path of seeing, the path of meditation, and the path of consummation. First, the definition of the path of accumulation: the path that, through cultivation, matures the continuum into the nature of what should be abandoned and what can be abandoned, and the antidote that can arise. Second, the definition of the path of preparation: the samadhi with wisdom that, by meditating on the aspects of the truths, diminishes the seeds of the afflictions to be abandoned by the path of seeing. It is divided into four: heat, which is the samadhi and wisdom associated with the first attainment of clarity on the aspects of the four truths or the non-inherent existence of what is grasped. Peak is the samadhi, etc., in which clarity increases. Patience is the samadhi, etc., in which clarity is further attained, which enters into one aspect of grasping non-inherent existence. Supreme Dharma is the samadhi of an ordinary being in which clarity is completely perfected, which can directly lead to the actual realization of the truths. Alternatively, the path of preparation is divided into two types: those that are common with the path of accumulation and those that are not. The first is any kind of quality that has existed since the path of accumulation and now exists as the nature of the path of preparation. The second is the mundane arising from meditation that has the aspects of the truths. It is divided into four: heat, etc. Third, the definition of the path of seeing: the direct realization of the nature of the four truths and the wisdom that realizes them, which were not previously realized but are newly realized. It is divided into sixteen by the division of moments. The forbearance of knowing the Dharma of suffering is the wisdom that newly realizes the nature of the truth of suffering, which was not previously realized, and is included in the path of uninterruptedness. The knowledge of the Dharma of suffering is the wisdom that is included in the path of liberation. The forbearance of knowing the Dharma of suffering is the wisdom that newly realizes the wisdom of the same in the way of other-knowing, which was not previously realized. The knowledge of the Dharma of suffering is the wisdom that newly realizes the wisdom of the same in the way of other-knowing, which was not previously realized. The Dharma-patience, Dharma-knowledge, subsequent-patience, and subsequent-knowledge of the remaining three truths should also be understood by the reasoning of the previous ones. Fourth, the definition of the path of meditation: the path to be practiced for the sake of abandoning what is to be abandoned by meditation.
