The mind that engages in an instant. Taking what is not given is the physical (action) of taking possession of another's property by force or deception. Sexual misconduct is the mind that engages together with the physical manifestation of engaging in what should not be engaged in. Virtue also has three aspects, such as abandoning killing. In order, it is combined with the mind that is together with the physical manifestation of abandoning killing, and so on. Speech karma has two types: non-virtuous and virtuous. The first has four aspects: Lying is the mind that is together with the verbal manifestation of transforming understanding when the meaning of what is being said exists elsewhere, and showing it elsewhere. Slander is speech spoken for the purpose of dividing others. Harsh speech is speech that causes displeasure to others. Idle talk is the mind that is together with words associated with afflictions. Virtue also has four aspects, which are the minds that abandon these. Mental karma has two types: non-virtuous and virtuous. The first has three aspects: The karma of covetousness is the mind that is together with the desire to take possession of another's property by force or deception. The karma of malice is the desire to harm others. The karma of wrong view is the view that denies karma and its effects, and the mind that is together with it. Virtue also has three aspects, which are the minds that abandon these. Furthermore, there are two types of karma: projecting karma and completing karma. The first is any karma that merely accomplishes the nature of maturation. The second is any karma that accomplishes that maturation itself as having the distinction of being desirable or undesirable. Furthermore, there are two types of karma: common karma and uncommon karma. In order, they are the karma that accomplishes the vessel world and the karma that accomplishes the sentient being world. Furthermore, there are three types of karma: vows, non-vows, and intermediate karma. The first, its characteristic is the mind that abandons immoral conduct. Its divisions are the vows of individual liberation, the vows of meditative concentration, and the vows of non-contamination. The first, its characteristic is the manifested vow that relies solely on the people of the three continents. Its divisions are eight types, among which the vow of a monk is the manifested (vow) that is well distinguished by abandoning all faults of body and speech.

The pratimoksha of a bhikshu is that which relies on the continuum in which any pratimoksha has arisen. The pratimoksha of a bhikshuni is that which relies on the continuum of any woman. The pratimoksha of a sramanera is that which relies on the pratimoksha that arises from the expression that is well distinguished by abandoning the ten things to be abandoned. The pratimoksha of a sramanerika is that which relies on any woman. The pratimoksha of a siksamana is that which relies on the pratimoksha that arises from the expression that is well distinguished by abandoning the six root dharmas and the six corresponding dharmas, and relies on any woman. The pratimoksha of a upasaka is that which relies on the pratimoksha that arises from the expression that is well distinguished by abandoning the five things to be abandoned. The pratimoksha of a upasika is that which relies on any woman. The pratimoksha of a nyungne is the pratimoksha that arises from the expression that is well distinguished by abandoning the eight things to be abandoned. Second, the characteristic of the dhyana pratimoksha is the pratimoksha obtained by the power of worldly dhyana that suppresses the kleshas that give rise to all laxity. The divisions are six, included in the six dhyana grounds. Third, the characteristic of the anasrava pratimoksha is the pratimoksha obtained by the power of transcendental dhyana that uproots the seeds of the kleshas that give rise to all laxity. The divisions are four pratimokshas: having abandoned one aspect of the kleshas that give rise to all laxity, having abandoned most of them, having abandoned all of them, and having perfected purity. In order, these are the pratimokshas included in the fruits of srotapanna, sakrdagamin, anagamin, and arhat. Non-pratimoksha is the mind that is exclusively engaged in what should not be done. Intermediate karma is the virtuous or non-virtuous karma that arises in the continuum of both those with and without pratimoksha, and is not contradictory. Again, there are two types of karma: karma that is certain to be experienced and karma that is uncertain. In order, these are the karma that possesses the two limbs of having been done and accumulated, and the karma that does not possess any of the limbs of having been done and accumulated. Again, there are three types of karma that are certain to be experienced: karma to be experienced in this lifetime is the fruit of any karma that is experienced in this very lifetime by the power of a special object or intense intention. Karma to be experienced after birth is the vipaka of any karma that is experienced in the next life made from that karma. Karma to be experienced in another lifetime is the vipaka of any karma that is made from that karma.
