是开启后续知识产生的门户。所缘缘:是指通过所缘生起知识的方法。增上缘:是指以支配的方式产生结果的方法。俱有依:是指与依赖自己的识和享受境的根。等起依:是指实际上不享受境,但与俱有依同类别的根。所取和非所取:是指感受能带来利益或损害,以及不能带来利益或损害的色法。根的定义是:支配任何一种共相或别相的法。分类有二十二种。归纳起来有杂染根和清净根两种。第一种是支配杂染法的,也就是执持境,种姓的相续,同类安住,以及支配善恶果报四种。按顺序分别是:眼等六根,男女根,命根,以及五种感受根。第二种是支配清净法的,也就是支配世间的清净和出世间的清净两种。按顺序分别是:信等五根,以及未知令知等三种。这些的定义将会被讲述和阐释。苦苦:是指由苦受及其处所组成的。坏苦:是指由有漏的乐受及其处所组成的。行苦:是指由有漏的舍受及其处所组成的。食的定义是:维持和增长存在的法。分类有抟食、触食、意思食和识食。定义按顺序分别是:任何境,鼻舌身三者享受后,在消化的过程中,使根及其所依处增长;任何令人满意的境,完全断绝的触,使根及其所依处增长;对未来可欲的事物,心为之动摇的思,使根及其所依处增长;以及尚未获得有身时能取,已获得时能住的识。

It opens the door for the generation of subsequent knowledge. Objective condition: It refers to the method of generating knowledge through the object. Dominant condition: It refers to the method of generating results in a controlling manner. Co-existent support: It refers to the faculty that is the same in relying on its own consciousness and enjoying the object. Similar support: It refers to the faculty that does not actually enjoy the object, but is of the same type as the co-existent support. Graspable and ungraspable: It refers to forms that can cause benefit or harm through sensation, and those that do not. The definition of faculty is: a dharma that dominates any general or specific characteristic. There are twenty-two types when classified. When summarized, there are two types: defiled faculties and purified faculties. The first is to dominate the defiled dharmas, which are the four: holding objects, the continuum of lineage, abiding in the same category, and dominating the results of virtue and non-virtue. In order, they are: the six faculties of eye, etc., the two faculties of male and female, the life faculty, and the five feeling faculties. The second is to dominate the purified dharmas, which are the two: dominating worldly purity and trans-worldly purity. In order, they are: the five faculties of faith, etc., and the three of knowing the unknown, etc. The definitions of these will be explained and elucidated. Suffering of suffering: It is composed of painful feeling and its place. Suffering of change: It is composed of contaminated pleasant feeling and its place. Suffering of conditioning: It is composed of contaminated neutral feeling and its place. The definition of food is: a dharma that maintains and increases existence. There are four types: solid food, contact food, volitional food, and consciousness food. The definitions in order are: any object that is enjoyed by the nose, tongue, and body, and when digested, increases the faculty and its support; any pleasing object, the contact that completely severs, increases the faculty and its support; the thought that moves the mind towards future desirable things, increases the faculty and its support; and the consciousness that takes the body of existence when it has not been obtained, and abides when it has been obtained.
