Since there is no affliction, it is not completely tainted by affliction, therefore it completely gathers the assembly of retinue. Since there is no guarding, fearing that they will speak of their own faults, therefore, because there is no guarding, it constantly admonishes. Since there is no forgetfulness, for the sake of benefiting sentient beings, even for a moment it does not carelessly violate, therefore it does not abandon the deeds of the Buddha. Since the habitual tendencies have been completely destroyed, there is no affliction and no obscuration of knowledge, therefore it does not show the behavior of body and speech as if there were affliction. With great compassion, in the form of "who declines, who increases" and so on, in order to distinguish and discern, it observes the world six times day and night. The unshared dharmas, with the first six, make the activities of body, speech, and mind completely pure, with the second set of six, attain accomplishment, with the third set of three, go forth, and with the fourth set of three, abide, and also overwhelm all Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. With all-knowing wisdom, since wisdom is unobstructed in all places, it cuts off the doubts of all sentient beings. In order to cut off the doubts of those to be tamed, the collector correctly collects the various terms of the Dharma taught there and there, therefore the rule of Dharma can also abide for a long time. Relying on such a rule of Dharma, it ripens those sentient beings who have not yet ripened, and so on. Fourth, there are six points to explain the differences of those: the abandonment and acceptance of direct realization and the exhaustion of collection; the explanation of the differences of Nirvana; questions and answers arising from the function of power and all-knowing wisdom; questions and answers arising from the direct realization of Bodhisattvas and the two or three types of individuals; the method of cultivating the antidote of Bodhisattvas; and the wisdom and freedom of such wise ones. First, for these direct realizations, when the path that is increasingly superior and encompassed by the fruit of the path is attained, it is said to abandon the path that enters the lower path, because it no longer appears. At the time of obtaining the fruit, it is summarized, and abandonment is also manifested. No matter what fruit is obtained, or first of all, the aspects that are incompatible with it are completely abandoned, and the difference of the transformed state is manifested.

Bodhisattvas abandon and relinquish the way of severing habitual patterns, but bodhisattvas are not like that, because their path is to prioritize the thought of liberating all sentient beings from suffering. Therefore, it is called inexhaustible roots of virtue at the time of cause and inexhaustible qualities at the time of fruition, as the hundred and ten inexhaustibles are mentioned in the Sutra of Inexhaustible Wisdom. Third, since all questions should be answered with scriptural authority and doubts should be dispelled, why are the fourteen things that should not be answered with scriptural authority separately established? Because that is asking in a way that is not in accordance with reality and does not accord with meaning. Why ask these? Because they have abandoned thinking about cause and effect and omniscience. Fourth, when the Shravakas attain the path of seeing, they are established as stream-enterers, but when the Bodhisattvas enter the faultless path, they do not become that, because they have attained the non-abiding path, so entering the stream of Nirvana is not accomplished. Even if they abandon the sixth of the desires to be abandoned by cultivation, they will not become once-returners, because they consciously take immeasurable rebirths in the realm of desire for the sake of sentient beings. Even if they abandon the ninth, they will not become non-returners, because they abide in the bliss of the dhyanas and are born in the desire realm by the power of mastery over birth. Fifth, Bodhisattvas, after realizing the truths, mainly cultivate the path of cultivation on the ten bhumis, which is the antidote to the obscuration of knowledge, not the antidote to the obscuration of afflictions, because they have entered for the sake of omniscience, not for the sake of Nirvana. But this does not mean that they will never abandon afflictions, because when they attain Bodhi, they will simultaneously abandon both obscurations. Therefore, they will simultaneously destroy the enemy and become Tathagatas, because they abandon the two obscurations in sequence. Even if they have not abandoned afflictions in the stage of the path of learning, no faults will arise, because the great medicine of the Prajnaparamita has weakened its power. For example, mantras and so on. Sixth, divided into two parts, first is the general statement, which is that Bodhisattvas have knowledge and so on.
