The extensive explanation is divided into five parts. First, there are six types of knowable things: delusion is the manifest clinging to the grasper and the grasped. The place of delusion is the unreal conceptualization in which children engage, manifestly clinging to the grasper and the grasped. The place of non-delusion is Suchness, because it is the object of non-discriminating wisdom. That which is both delusion and non-delusion are worldly virtuous dharmas, such as those arising from hearing the teachings of the Buddha, because they are in accordance with the discriminating and non-discriminating wisdom regarding the knowable. Non-delusion is non-discriminating wisdom. The similar cause of non-delusion is the virtuous dharmas obtained after the noble path. Second, there are four skillful means: skill in maturing sentient beings is the four objects of gathering, because having gathered them with the four objects of gathering, one introduces them to virtue. Skill in perfecting the Buddhadharma is the Perfection of Wisdom, because bodhisattvas, great beings who wish to perfect everything from generosity to omniscience, should train in this Perfection of Wisdom, as it is said. Skill in swift direct perception is confessing sins and rejoicing in merit six times day and night, as well as supplicating the Buddha and dedicating virtue, and so on. Skill in not interrupting the continuum of the path is non-abiding nirvana, because one returns and continuously demonstrates all the conduct of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in all realms of the world, according to how beings are to be tamed. There are two types of unreal conceptualization. Generally speaking, there are ten types: the root conceptualization is the alaya-consciousness, because it becomes the seed of all conceptualizations. The conceptualization of characteristics is the conceptualization of body, place, and resources, because it becomes the characteristic of the grasped. The conceptualization that appears as characteristics is the seven consciousnesses, which, as previously explained, become the aspect of the grasped characteristics. The conceptualization that appears as characteristics and changes is eye consciousness, etc., which, as shown, transforms those that appear as characteristics into other states such as happiness.

This is it. The conceptualization taught by others is the characteristic of the collection of names, words, and letters contained in the teachings. It is divided into two types: incorrect explanations and correct explanations. Considering the meaning of the former is an inappropriate conceptualization, while following and considering the latter is an appropriate conceptualization. The conceptualization of attachment is the conceptualization that arises from inappropriate conceptualization, summarized by the sixty-two views. Distracted conceptualization is any conceptualization that arises from appropriate conceptualization and is characterized by grasping at non-existent entities, etc. When divided into ten distractions, conceptualizing non-existence is clinging to other-powered or the complete non-existence of aggregates. As a remedy for this, the Extensive, Medium, and Concise Perfection of Wisdom Sutras state that the Bodhisattva himself exists. Because the meaning of existent entities exists. As a remedy for conceptualizing entities, the Perfection of Wisdom Sutra states that Bodhisattvas should not truly see, nor should they truly see its name, the Perfection of Wisdom, practice, or non-practice. Because it prevents the existence of persons and phenomena. As a remedy for additive conceptualization, the Perfection of Wisdom Sutra states that names are empty of inherent existence, and form up to consciousness is empty of inherent existence. Because it prevents the inherently existing nature of untrue imputation. As a remedy for the conceptualization of denial, the Perfection of Wisdom Sutra states that it is not by emptiness. Because that name exists at all times in a nature that is free from imputation. As a remedy for the conceptualization of oneness, the Perfection of Wisdom Sutra states that the emptiness of form is not form, up to consciousness. Because the inherent nature is other, form and so on are the inherently existing nature of imputation, while emptiness is the inherently existing nature of perfect completion. As a remedy for the conceptualization of difference, the Perfection of Wisdom Sutra states that form is not other than emptiness, form is emptiness, and emptiness is form, up to consciousness. Because it is the characteristic of the inherently existing nature of imputation, it does not exist apart from it, because it does not exist. As a remedy for the conceptualization of inherent existence, the Perfection of Wisdom Sutra states that form up to consciousness
