Nā no. Wrong view refers to, in the desire realm, seeing that those who do evil do not have the fruit of sin and being happy, therefore feeling comfortable in the mind; for those who do good, seeing that their doing good is meaningless and being unhappy, therefore feeling uncomfortable in the mind. When both cease, one is in a state of equanimity. In the form and formless realms, it is the same as whatever feeling is in the mind ground. Doubt is, because it is of the mind ground, and if it is not determined, the appearance of joy will not arise, so in the desire realm, it is together with discomfort and equanimity, and beyond that, what kind of feeling is there? Mixed ignorance is the same as all other afflictions, so in whatever realm and ground, whichever five feelings exist, it should be said that it is the same as that. Ignorance that is not mixed with other afflictions, that is, ignorance that is different from the wheel of the mind, in the desire realm, because it is ignorant of the truth and does not like the correct Dharma, it is together with discomfort, and at cessation it is the same as equanimity. In the upper realms above that, it is the same as whatever feeling is in the mind ground. Why are all afflictions together with the feeling of equanimity? Because when afflictions are together with clear feelings such as pleasure and pain, they will not cease due to their great power; but when the feeling is in an ordinary state of equanimity, they will disappear. With which consciousness is it together? Attachment, anger, and ignorance are all together with the six consciousnesses in the desire realm. In the form realm, it is together with four consciousnesses except for nose consciousness and tongue consciousness. In the formless realm, it is only together with mind consciousness, because there are no five consciousnesses. Pride, views, and doubt are always only together with mind consciousness, because they arise in the manner of measuring and fully understanding, and the root consciousnesses cannot perform measuring etc. because they rely on matter. In which realm, how does one apply to each aspect of the basis and to all? Attachment, anger, and pride, these three, in the desire realm, only apply to one aspect of objects,

It enters into accordance and non-accordance, because it is filled with any kind of thing. The same is true in the form and formless realms. The remaining ignorance, views, and doubt also operate on all objects of all realms, because they focus on all bases. The two divisions of types are: there are two types of afflictions, one that is destroyed by merely seeing the truth, which is abandoned by seeing, and the other that is destroyed by repeatedly familiarizing oneself with what has already been seen as the truth, which is abandoned by meditation. Separately, in terms of their respective meanings, what is to be abandoned by seeing in the desire realm is that each of the four truths, such as suffering, has ten afflictions that are abandoned by seeing their suchness, making forty in total. In the form and formless realms, there are nine types of abandoning anger, and with the distinction of the four truths, there are thirty-six, making two sets. Thus, there are one hundred and twelve afflictions to be abandoned by seeing. This is assuming that all ten afflictions have wrongly entered into all truths. Alternatively, it should be understood as it appears in the Compendium of Ascertainments, as it says: 'Here, in the desire realm, it is reasonable to consider that all ten afflictions wrongly enter into suffering. For the origin, except for the view of the aggregates of destruction and the view of clinging to extremes, the other eight wrongly enter. Just as with the origin, so too with cessation and the path. For the higher realms, all truths except for anger are to be understood in order, just as they wrongly enter in the desire realm.' The reason for distinguishing these two inconsistencies is that it is assumed that all afflictions are abandoned by seeing the reality of all truths, thereby showing that all afflictions wrongly enter into all truths. And, assuming that they wrongly enter into the aspects of the truths, it is distinguished that the view of the aggregates of destruction and the view of clinging to extremes wrongly enter only into the truth of suffering, while other afflictions wrongly enter into all truths. Why are all afflictions truths
