They play and rejoice with those five qualities. Similarly, there are trees from which the sounds of laughter, song, and music arise, and from those trees arise various kinds of sounds of laughter, dance, song, and music. Similarly, there are trees of utensils, and from those trees arise food, drink, bedding, cushion utensils, and similar utensils. Those who wish to enjoy them as they please and according to their karma, those utensils will come into their hands. The palaces, perfections, happiness, and enjoyments of the Asuras should also be understood in the same way. In the Uttarakuru of the north, such trees are called wish-fulfilling trees. Those trees can be taken from the trees themselves, but they do not come into hand by thinking. There are also fruits that are not plowed or planted. Those beings have no self-grasping or possessiveness, and after death, they are also born as gods of the Thirty-Three. In that Thirty-Three, there is a supreme palace of the lord of the gods, Indra, called "Victorious," which is the most supreme of all palaces. It has eighty-one eaves, and on each eave, there are a hundred stories of houses. In each of those, there are seven rooms, and in each room, there are seven goddesses, and each goddess has seven maids. The grounds of the gods are also as flat as the palm of the hand, without high or low, and comfortable to the touch. When the foot is placed, it sinks, and when it is lifted, it returns to its original state. It is always covered with Mandarava flowers up to the knees, and the old flowers are blown away by the wind, while the new flowers are well arranged. In the four directions of the city of the gods, there are good, beautiful, and beautifully decorated streets. In the four directions, there are four good, beautiful, and beautifully decorated gates. In those gates, there are many handsome Yakshas arranged in various forms. In the four directions of the city, there are four gardens, as follows: various kinds of vehicles

There are also ponds, rough changes, mixtures, and pleasure gardens. Beyond those, there is a good land, both good and pleasing to the eye, and beautiful. In the northeast corner of the city of gods, there is a place called 'Good Dharma Heaven,' where the gods enter to contemplate meaning and approach measurement. Beside it, there is a good, pleasing, and beautiful stone slab. Those gods also emit light from their own bodies and illuminate it, without the light of the sun and moon. For them, the signs of night are like this: becoming lazy, unwilling to be affectionate with the five qualities of desire, drowsiness, sleep, birds not making sounds, and so on, occur. From this, they think like this: night has come, and day has passed. They simultaneously have happiness and mental happiness day and night, and spend their time happily with the five qualities of heavenly desire. The Thirty-three Gods also experience such happiness. Moreover, the happiness of the higher realms is even more excellent. In Tushita, in the presence of the lords of the ten bhumis, constantly experiencing the enjoyment of the Mahayana Dharma is even more excellent. The cause of being born there is: in mindfulness, 'Those who are learned, upholders of the Dharma, possess wisdom and desire liberation, people who delight in merits, those people approach Tushita,' it is said. Practicing in the Form Realm, those in the first dhyana experience joy and happiness born from seclusion. Those in the second dhyana experience joy and happiness born from samadhi. Those in the third dhyana experience happiness that is without joy, with happiness as its essence. Those in the fourth dhyana experience equanimity, completely pure mindfulness, and the unwavering happiness of peace. Those born in the Formless Realm experience the happiness of peace and liberation. The enjoyment of happiness has been explained. The enjoyment of food is like this: Like this, beings who practice, are born, and appear in the three realms maintain their lives through the four foods.

How long do they live? For this, all sentient beings in the three realms can live on the three kinds of food: contact, thinking in mind, and consciousness. With lump food, only sentient beings in the desire realm can live. For this, the sentient beings born in hell have fine lump food of flowing wind in their bellies, and they live on it. For this, lump food is coarse, because animals and hungry ghosts cut and eat lump food. In addition, for beings like worms and the gods of the desire realm, lump food is subtle. Thus, they say in the Sutra of Lump Food that it will enter all the limbs of the body and be digested, because they will not turn into feces and urine. For this, the enjoyment of sexual intercourse is like this: hell beings have no sexual intercourse at all, because they experience intense pain, all kinds of pain, long-lasting pain, and constant pain. Therefore, men born in hell do not have female desires for women, and women do not have male desires for men, let alone intercourse with each other. For animals, hungry ghosts, and humans, there is sexual intercourse with a mixture of physical pleasure and pain, and these men and women will have intercourse with each other, and semen will be produced. The gods of the desire realm have sexual intercourse, but no semen is produced. When they are produced, a temporary wind will be produced from the sexual organs. Among them, the Four Great Kings and the Thirty-three Gods become free from suffering by having intercourse with each other. The No-Strife Gods, just by hugging each other. The Tushita Gods, just by holding hands with each other. The Delightful Transformation Gods, just by smiling at each other. The Other-Controlled Gods, just by looking at each other.
