Understanding that no dharma can be expressed in any way, that is, from the aggregates to the unmixed dharmas of the Buddha, nothing can be expressed, so it is said. Second, extensive explanation in the commentary. The first of the two summaries of meaning is: 'That' is a particle of speech that draws near. The aspects of impermanence, etc., based on the four truths such as suffering, i.e., the sixteen dharmas, are the object of the small heat. That is the basis for cutting off superimpositions. In the four truths such as suffering, impermanence, etc., first there is manifest clinging, and then special attention is paid to the cause, and the wisdom that prevents all knowers through the door of grasping the cause of perversion, etc., is a distinction of wisdom, the nature of dharma. It is the aspect of the small heat of a Bodhisattva, because its object is the antidote to the discordant side of superimposition on the wrong path, so it should be known in the same way for all. All the decisive part of the Bodhisattva's heat, etc., is also the nature of dharma. It should be understood that it is the nature of the cause of attaining the realization of all three vehicles. Because it is the cause of attaining the Bodhisattva's path of seeing, which is obtained by increasing the qualities of abandonment and realization of Hearers and Solitary Realizers. The object of the middle heat is the establishment that forms, etc., exist, and the names of refutation that they do not exist, etc., are not focused on according to number because of aspiration and attention, and because of attention to suchness, it is called unseen. Among them, that which arises from hearing and thinking and worldly meditation is aspiration and attention. Because it acts on the nature of dharma in the manner of a general meaning. That which is included in seeing and meditation is attention to suchness. Because it enters the nature of dharma in the manner of manifestation. The aspect is that the dharmas such as forms, etc., that are free from negation and affirmation, are merely names, and all names also have the nature of being without essence, the characteristics of entering into discontinuity of different types and continuity of similar types, and continuity of similar types without interruption, etc., are the nature of dharma called non-existence, which is a distinction of the wisdom of understanding. The object of great heat is the cycle of existence and nirvana from form to the so-called Buddha.

All dharmas are not established in reality, but are merely imputed by names, and are merely established by the terms of the world. The aspect is: those are without self-nature in the ultimate sense, therefore there is no mention of any dharma such as virtue, non-virtue, or unspecified, which is called the distinction of the wisdom of realization. The second is: as described above, there are three types: small, medium, and large, and thus it is called warmth. Why is it called warmth? For example, just as when wood is rubbed, heat arises as a precursor to the emergence of fire, similarly, when the initial appearance of meditation-born clarity is obtained on the nature of reality, it becomes a precursor to the fire of non-conceptual wisdom. Second, the peak, according to the root commentary, the first is according to the noble ones, the object and aspect of the small peak are twofold: divided into the four truths and not divided into the four truths. The first is to focus on: form and so on do not abide in the ultimate sense, that is, there is no place to abide, because form and so on do not have self-nature in their essence in the ultimate sense. The sutra says: When a great Bodhisattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he does not abide in form. The aspect is: the wisdom that realizes that the emptiness of form and so on is the same nature, the same indivisible nature. What is the emptiness of form, those are not form. Although other than emptiness, form is not separate from emptiness. So it is said. The second is to focus on: form and so on do not abide in impermanence and suffering in the ultimate sense, because the impermanence of form and so on is empty in its essence in the ultimate sense. Bhagavan, furthermore, when a great Bodhisattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he should not abide in the thought that form is impermanent. From: he should not abide in the thought that form is peaceful. So it is said. The aspect is the wisdom that realizes that impermanence and so on, and the emptiness of those and so on, are the same nature in the ultimate sense. Bhagavan, what is the emptiness of impermanence, that is not impermanence. Although separate from impermanence, emptiness is not separate from impermanence. So it is said. The object of the medium peak is: from form to omniscience.
