The four are called the supreme Dharma of perfection. The second is: The first, middle, and last three arise in sequence, or the dull-witted who are connected with the dependent person Bodhisattva, and the distinction between the medium and sharp-witted persons, each of which also has three: small, medium, and large. The second is the special Dharma: the object of focus is impermanence, etc., which will be explained below, with the nature of the distinction of the object of focus, the four truths distinguished by impermanence, etc., as the object of focus, and the antidote of viewing impermanence, etc., as Dharma, without attachment to phenomena such as permanence and impermanence, etc., thus entering, it is the nature of the cause of realizing and obtaining the qualities of all three vehicles, and the characteristic of the Mahayana virtuous friend's skillful means of not falling into the extremes of samsara and nirvana, and once, and the vision at the peak, and the four conceptualizations of grasping and clinging to be abandoned by meditation, the manner of which will be explained below, and arising in connection with all defilements. The third is from where it is superior: the Hearers, etc., and the warmth, etc., of the Solitary Realizers, etc. The second is the reason for the superiority of these special qualities: the roots of the warmth, etc., of these Hearers and Solitary Realizers are because they are separated from the five special qualities. For example, it is said in the teachings of the Hearer Vehicle: Their paths are visible, and can be experienced, and by distinguishing individual objects, etc., with the four truths of the nature of the five aggregates as the object of focus, and the antidote of observing the self-mastery of the person to be abandoned, entering the aspect of the selflessness of the person such as impermanence, etc., and seeking liberation alone, realizing the fruit of one's own vehicle, only for the sake of hearing, and being separated from the skillful means of the protector who saves from the extremes of samsara and nirvana, and the four conceptualizations of grasping and clinging do not become obstacles to one's own enlightenment, therefore they do not arise in connection with all defilements. The second has the actual and the reason for not elaborating, ཐ

To avoid debates conflicting with other tenets, the first of the three is: focusing on the reality of the Four Noble Truths. Through what? Through those that are in accordance with the discriminating aspects of the Bodhisattvas. Through what means? In some instances of the intermediate forbearance, one focuses on the Four Noble Truths through the aspect of cause, that is, by focusing on the Four Noble Truths in the manner of becoming the cause of the complete purification of the three doors and their entities. In some instances of the minor peak, one focuses on the Four Noble Truths through the aspect of result, that is, in order to induce the activity of Samadhi according to the capacity of the trainees. In some instances of the minor forbearance, one focuses on the Four Noble Truths through the aspect of the nature of the two truths, that is, by focusing on form, etc., encompassed by the Four Noble Truths, as being without inherent existence in the ultimate sense, and as having inherent existence in the conventional sense. In some instances of the minor heat, etc., one focuses on the Four Noble Truths through the aspect of the nature of phenomena, that is, in the manner of emptiness, in order to prevent direct perception, etc. Then, among the twelve paths of joining, which focus on the Four Noble Truths through the aspect of cause, and which through the aspect of result, etc.? Whichever path of joining it may be, one should focus on the aspects of cause, result, nature, and the nature of phenomena, as they are possible. And one should understand this by examining their respective aspects as appropriate. Why focus in that way? Because of the power of skill in means to realize the two truths without inversion. Some Tibetans say that in meditative equipoise, one focuses on the nature of phenomena of the ultimate truth, and in subsequent attainment, one focuses on the three aspects of cause, result, and nature of the conventional truth, because the conventional truth does not go beyond the three aspects of cause, result, and nature. Although this explanation seems good, it does not seem to be the intention of the master, and the explanations of other commentaries are without essence. Like the paths of joining of the Hearers in the past, one should say that others also universally focus on the Four Noble Truths, in addition to the aspects of impermanence, etc., shown in the scriptures. Even so, one will not grasp at the characteristics of phenomena like the Hearers, and one will not fall into Nirvana, because of the power of skill in means. The second is: Although the way of focusing on the aspect of cause, etc., will be explained in the text below, the way of focusing through other aspects
