They are born in the Brahma host of gods, and having cultivated the various meditations in them, they are born in the Akanistha gods, and in various Buddha-fields, they manifestly and completely awaken to unsurpassed and perfect enlightenment and become Buddhas. Secondly, noble sons, great bodhisattvas, who, having died and transmigrated from the world of Brahma, are born in the Pure Abodes, and having transcended one or two of the Pure Abodes, are born in Akanistha, in various Buddha-fields, and so on. Thirdly, noble sons, great bodhisattvas, who, having trained in the Tushita abode, from the Brahma host to Akanistha, with skillful means, teach the Dharma to the beings of hell and the animal realm, and to the beings of the world of Yama, and so on, in the ten directions, from Buddha-field to Buddha-field, attending to and honoring the Bhagavat Buddhas, and so on. As for going to the ultimate limit of existence, noble sons, great bodhisattvas, who cultivate meditation and the formless attainments, they will be born among the gods from the Brahma host to the Subhakrtsna, and then they will be born from the sphere of infinite space to the peak of existence, and then in various Buddha-fields, and so on. Because of destroying desire for form, the non-returner who dies from here and is born in the formless realm is the sixth non-returner, that is, noble sons, great bodhisattvas, who have attained meditation and the formless attainments, they will be born from the sphere of infinite space to the peak of existence, and then in various Buddha-fields, and so on. Seventh, those who realize peace and nirvana in the present Dharma are: noble sons, great bodhisattvas, who are adorned with the thirty-two marks of a great person on their bodies and possess unsurpassed faculties that are completely pure, they will never be born in evil destinies or evil paths of downfall, they do not praise themselves, nor do they disparage others, they are loving and pleasing to many beings, and whatever beings see those bodhisattvas, they also, with a very joyful mind, completely pass into nirvana by the three vehicles, and so on.

In order to obtain the Anāgāmin result, one directly realizes it with a body devoid of mind, similar to peaceful nirvāṇa, hence it is realized by the body. That is, those Bodhisattvas who practice Prajñāpāramitā, as well as the aspects of samādhi such as dhyāna, the four immeasurables, and the formless absorptions, they enter into the first dhyāna. After arising from that, they enter into the cessation absorption. Having abandoned the eighth affliction of the peak of existence, when striving to abandon the ninth, it is called entering the fruit of Arhatship. That is, those Bodhisattvas who abide in the six perfections, manifesting the Dharma of the Buddhas to sentient beings, and who themselves, until they manifest complete and perfect enlightenment, do not separate from the manifestation of the Dharma of the Buddhas. The Pratyekabuddhas, like rhinos, are those Bodhisattvas who, in world realms where there is no Buddha's teaching and no Śrāvakas, manifest enlightenment and attain Buddhahood. They are skilled in means, maturing countless beings in the three vehicles, and then attain unsurpassed complete enlightenment. Third, the five pairs in the explanation, the first pair is the Stream-enterer, the first of entering and abiding is: The Bodhisattva who relies on the first fifteen moments of the sixteen moments of the path of seeing, which will be explained in the second chapter, and which are included in the knowledge of the path, and who abides in this, and who has not completely abandoned the afflictions to be abandoned by cultivation that were previously promised, is entering the first fruit of the Bodhisattva, because it is striving to obtain the fruit of the Śrāmaṇa, which is completely distinguished by abandoning the three bonds, which is what should be obtained by the Mahāyāna path. The phrase 'what should be obtained by the Mahāyāna path' also applies to the following situations. If distinguished, there are two types, namely the difference between the dull-witted follower of faith and the sharp-witted follower of the Dharma. The second is the mere and the first of the distinguished: 'After that,' this phrase indicates the order of the explanation. The mind that has not abandoned the afflictions to be abandoned by cultivation and abides in the sixteenth moment, is the abiding in the fruit of the Stream-enterer of the Bodhisattva, because it is everything that should be obtained by the Mahāyāna path.
