This is the antidote. Realizing the equality of all phenomena of samsara and nirvana is the antidote to clinging to the characteristics of acceptance and rejection of samsara and nirvana. Realizing the ultimate unique Mahayana is the antidote to clinging to the different lineages of the three vehicles. Completely knowing that the phenomena of name and form are unborn is the antidote to clinging to the aggregates. Having the patience to realize the profound Dharma of emptiness is the antidote to clinging to the elements. Explaining all knowable phenomena included in the internal and external sources through the means of the Great Vehicle, without duality of grasping and being grasped, is the antidote to clinging to the sources. Cutting off all thoughts is the antidote to abiding in the three realms with incorrect conceptualization. And the absence of conceptualization clinging to characteristics such as purity and happiness, as well as the view of the perishable collection, and clinging to extreme views, wrong views, holding to discipline and vows, and holding to views, etc., these wrong views, and abandoning the three defilements such as desire, is the antidote to clinging to desire, because clinging to characteristics with incorrect conceptualization gives rise to the view of the perishable collection and so on, as well as desire and so on, thereby giving rise to clinging to the three realms. Therefore, these three are one Dharma. Meditating on calm abiding with single-pointed focus for the benefit of others is the antidote to timidity towards the benefit of sentient beings. Skillfully using wisdom to realize ultimate emptiness and not abandoning conventional appearances is the antidote to clinging to the view of the Buddha. Pacifying the mind by meditating on the selflessness of phenomena is the antidote to clinging to the view of the Dharma. Relying on the two truths, the unobstructed wisdom of suchness and the extent of phenomena such as form is the antidote to clinging to the view of the Sangha. Obtaining wisdom that does not cling to anything is the antidote to clinging to the view of discipline. In order to skillfully distinguish the Dharma, going simultaneously to all Buddha-fields as desired is the antidote to arguing with emptiness. In order to liberate the realm of sentient beings clinging to objects, showing oneself everywhere in accordance with those to be tamed

The so-called "confession" is the antidote to the clinging to violating vows. Thus, in order to counteract what is abandoned by meaning, through these twenty kinds of complete purification, one can also realize the seventh ground. This is also achieved by realizing non-apprehension, as before. The word "also" here indicates not only before, but to show that both before and after are different aspects of complete purification. Regarding the eighth ground, the first of the root and commentary is: "Knowing the minds of all sentient beings." The sutra says: "The great Bodhisattva, abiding on the eighth ground, should perfect these four dharmas. What are the four? They are: understanding the minds of all sentient beings," and so on. It also says: "One should also perfect the four dharmas," and so on. Dividing the four dharmas into two groups is to understand that no matter which one is abandoned, it is to completely purify it. This is quoted from the "Sunlight Commentary." The second is that, with the clairvoyance of knowing others' minds, one knows as they are the mental conduct of all sentient beings to be tamed, such as attachment and non-attachment. In all realms, in order to make offerings to the Buddhas and tame sentient beings, transforming one into many, many into one, and so on, one generates love with miraculous knowledge. By completely dedicating the roots of virtue to this, one transforms the support of the Buddha-field into the nature of gold and lapis lazuli, and so on. In order to inquire about doubts in the words and meanings of the Dharma in all aspects, one pleases the Buddhas with the reverence of body, speech, and mind. The so-called "completely established" does not conform to the root, so the translation is not appropriate. Generating pure divine eyes, and relying on the Buddha-field of the self-Buddha, one completely purifies the faults of sentient beings such as hunger, thirst, and afflictions. At all times and places, one abides like an illusion without manifest clinging. Wherever one takes birth, one can see the meaning of the higher realms and definite goodness of all sentient beings, thereby manifesting wisdom and taking birth as a universal monarch, and so on. Like this, through eight kinds of completely purifying dharmas, it is called the eighth ground. Why is it called the Immovable Ground? Because of the two kinds of thought...
