Because it is a key instruction that teaches the meaning of non-regression and growth. Bodhicitta, etc., this dharma. It is a key instruction that teaches the nature of one's own practice, that is, in order for sentient beings to be free from suffering and to attain the Dharmakaya, the meaning of generating the mind should be practiced in a non-attached manner. Suffering, etc., is to teach the truth of suffering, that is, in order to counteract the attachment to suffering as something to be known, one should realize that all dharmas included in the contaminated fruit are empty and teach them. Accumulation, etc., is to teach the truth of accumulation, that is, in order to counteract the attachment to accumulation as something to be abandoned, one should realize that all dharmas included in the contaminated cause are empty and teach them. Cessation, etc., is to teach the truth of cessation, that is, in order to counteract the attachment to cessation as something to be manifested, one should realize that all dharmas included in the pure fruit are empty and teach them. The path, etc., is to teach the truth of the path, that is, in order to counteract the attachment to the path as something to be practiced, one should realize that all dharmas included in the pure cause are empty and teach them. Buddha, etc., is to teach the Buddha Jewel, that is, in order to counteract the attachment to the Buddha as a refuge, one should know that the wisdom of equality between the object and the subject is the ultimate Buddha and teach it. Dharma, etc., is to teach the Dharma Jewel, that is, in order to counteract the attachment to the Dharma as being free from attachment, one should realize that all dharmas included in the three wisdoms are empty and teach them. Sangha, is to teach the Sangha Jewel, that is, in order to counteract the attachment to the Sangha as a place of offering, one should realize that the noble Bodhisattvas are unborn and teach them. Buddha, etc., the Mahayana Arhat Dharma, there is a reason why it is not counted as the Sangha at this time, that is, because it has been realized within the category of the Buddha Jewel. From the fruit position to the eighth position, the Sangha at this time has eight fundamental differences, that is, because there are three fruit positions, four stream entrants, and Pratyekabuddhas, etc.

This is because there are five stages of entering the stream, three stages of once-returner, ten stages of non-returner, and the stage of arhat existing in one's own country. This is to admonish not to be attached to diligence, etc. In order to counteract the laziness of focusing on evil deeds, the practitioner should know that the actions of his three doors of body, speech, and mind are without inherent nature, which is the reason for the admonition. Regarding long periods of time, etc., this is to admonish not to be weary. In order to counteract the laziness of being indolent, one should realize that all dharmas from form to omniscience are not to be boasted about, which is the reason for the admonition. Regarding the ten directions, etc., this is to admonish to fully grasp the path. In order to counteract external laziness, one should train in the non-arising of dharmas by their own nature, which is the reason for the admonition. Regarding "meat," etc., this is to admonish the five eyes. This is because, regarding the five eyes, one should not be attached to them in the ultimate truth, but in the conventional truth, one should not rely on others through them, which is the reason for the admonition. The definitions of the five eyes are, in order: the eye of an ordinary person, trained by meditation, is able to see subtle and coarse forms from a hundred yojanas to three thousand great thousand worlds; the eye formed from the ripening of previous virtuous actions, is able to see the death and birth of other sentient beings; the wisdom that does not discriminate between the two selves; the wisdom that comprehends the realization of noble beings; and the wisdom that directly realizes the suchness and the extent of all dharmas. Regarding magical powers, etc., this is to admonish the six superknowledges. This is because, regarding these, one should not be attached to them in the ultimate truth, but in the conventional truth, one should perfect the accumulation of omniscience through them, which is the reason for the admonition. The definitions of the six superknowledges are, in order: the samadhi and wisdom that do not perform various magical transformations such as shaking the earth; the form body born from meditation and included in the earth element corresponding to samadhi, which can hear all subtle and coarse sounds; the samadhi and wisdom that know the state of mind of others through the power of meditation; the samadhi and wisdom that remember many past lives of oneself and others through the power of meditation; the form body born from meditation and included in the earth element corresponding to samadhi, which can see all subtle and coarse forms; and the means to abandon the two obscurations.
