Now, the sixteen dharmas. At this time, a Bodhisattva abiding in the manifest realization known as the Path of Seeing is a sign of non-retrogression from unsurpassed Bodhi, namely, that Bodhisattva, etc. Form, etc., feeling, etc. The four statements of body and speech from the cessation of form, etc., feeling, etc., to the true cessation of birth, are signs of non-retrogression at this time, abiding in the manifest realization known as the four moments of forbearance and knowledge with the object of the Truth of Suffering, namely, those, etc. The four statements of body and speech from lightness of body and mind to complete purity are signs of non-retrogression at this time, abiding in the manifest realization known as the Truth of Origin, known as the moments of forbearance and knowledge, namely, those Bodhisattvas, etc. The four statements of body and speech from the aggregates to battle, which prevent association and subsequent association, are signs of non-retrogression at this time, abiding in the manifest realization known as the four moments of forbearance and knowledge with the object of the Truth of Cessation, namely, those, etc. The four statements of body and speech from preventing association and subsequent association with miserliness, etc., to sacrificing life for the sake of the Dharma, are signs of non-retrogression at this time, abiding in the manifest realization known as the four moments of forbearance and knowledge with the object of the Truth of the Path, namely, those, etc. Thus, etc. The sixteen statements of body and speech at this time, known as the sixteen moments of forbearance and knowledge, have a reason to be called by the name of the sixteen moments of meditative equipoise and forbearance and knowledge, because they are the result of the subsequent attainment of pure worldly wisdom that they bring about. Yogis, etc. It is necessary to establish it in this way, because in order to know the body and speech of noble Bodhisattvas, it is only in accordance with the realization of meditative equipoise other than the need to tame sentient beings. If it is not like that, etc. The sixteen aspects of the cessation of form, etc., feeling, etc., at this time, become signs that make other yogis with their own continuums believe in non-retrogression from complete Bodhi, because the meditative equipoise that each individual should know is in the continuum of the yogi.

Because it is the moment of knowing. Regarding the following etc., concerning the characteristic of the path of meditation, there is a reason to explain it before the path of meditation, because deeply realizing the path of meditation depends on you. Profound emptiness etc., concerning the path of meditation, it is profound, because the profundity of emptiness etc. is a characteristic of its own nature. Emptiness, signlessness etc., concerning the dharma, it is profound, because its own nature is free from addition and defamation. Decisive correct view etc., concerning the wisdom of hearing, thinking, and meditation of the second ground's continuum, it is the path of meditation at this time, because it is the path of decisive realization with the mind born from hearing and the mind born from thinking of the meaning seen by the three, namely the path of union, seeing, and meditation. Or, concerning the wisdom born from the three, namely the preliminary practice, the actual practice, and the subsequent practice of the samadhi of its continuum, it can be divided as before. Its continuous etc., concerning the Mahayana path of meditation, if divided, there are nine aspects, because the root, namely the great, medium, and small three, each can be divided into three. It can be divided into small, medium, and nine kinds, because it is the path that continuously appears in the ten grounds from the perspective of becoming more and more excellent from top to top. There is a reason to divide it into small, medium, and nine kinds, because there are nine kinds of dissimilar coarse, medium, and fine conceptualizations. At this time, concerning the antidote to the coarse, medium, and fine conceptualizations to be abandoned, there is a reason to divide the Bodhisattva's path of meditation into small, medium, and nine kinds, because the afflictions to be abandoned by the Bodhisattva are conceptualizations. There is a reason why the coarse gradually ceases and the antidote gradually arises from the subtle, because small darkness is dispelled by great light. Countless etc., concerning the Mahayana path of meditation, it becomes indefinite in number as small, medium, and nine kinds, because each aspect also proclaims the generation of immeasurable, countless, and boundless three, such a thesis, here establishing the path of meditation as small, medium, and nine kinds, is not harmful, because if relying on the ultimate truth, then the fault of non-establishment will be incurred, and if relying on the conventional truth, then the fault of uncertainty will be incurred. The latter part of the former thesis, in the ultimate truth, the aspects of the path of meditation cannot have the difference of countless etc. three kinds.
