It may be established that the sound of the Vedas is beginningless in all respects merely by the sign of not remembering the father. However, just because it is so, it is not reasonable to think that the speech of the Vedas is dependent on not being made by a person. If, because of being beginningless, the speech of the Vedas is not made by a person, then other worldly terms that are established as made by a person will also become independent of humans or persons. For example, the terms of barbarians and Mongols such as "after the father dies, the youngest son should take the mother as his wife," and the words of nihilistic materialists who slander good and bad deeds, etc., are also subjects. Like the speech of the Vedas, they should also not be made by a person, because they are beginningless. Because they are terms that arise from the reason that the previous barbarians and materialists have manifestly created. If it is said that those terms are established as not made by a person because they are beginningless, then knowable things are subjects. What qualities are there in not being made by a person that are truthful? There are none, because such terms of barbarians, materialists, etc., are also established as not made by a person. Furthermore, the speech of the Vedas is a subject. It should also be doubtful for those who show only one meaning to be expressed, because it is seen that the differences in the speaker's intention to express do not combine many differences in meaning. Furthermore, if it is established that the Vedas are not made by a person, then are the letters of the Vedas not made by a person? Or is the speech established as not made by a person? If it is the former, the letters of the Vedas, such as A, I, etc., are subjects. If it is established as not made by a person, then how can the result that the logician manifestly desires become a true meaning? It will not become a true meaning, because there is no difference from other worldly letters A, I, etc. If it is the latter, the speech of the Vedas is a subject. There is no speech that is substantially different from the letters of the Vedas, because it is not perceived there by valid cognition. Alternatively, there may be speech that is substantially different from the letters. Then, is the speech of the Vedas a possession of many parts of limbs, or is it an indivisible one? If it is the former, those parts of the speech, for each different one,

Is it to say that it is without meaning? Or is it to say that it has complete meaning? If the former, the language of the Vedas should be man-made, because it merely imagines the limbs that do not express the essence of things as things that express the essence of things. For example, imagining a Brahmin's son who is not a lion as a lion, etc. If it is said that each part of the language has a complete meaning, then imagining it as many limbs or parts is wrong, it should be meaningless, and one of your limbs or parts should also be able to understand the entire meaning of the language through understanding, because each of your parts completely shows the meaning to be expressed. If it is said that all parts of the language are heard together, there is no fault of other parts being meaningless, then when hearing one's own parts in sequence with hearing, there should be no difference in time, because they are heard together. If it is said that the language is an indivisible whole, then it is impossible for you to understand sequentially through hearing and recall sequentially through memory, because it is a whole without different parts. Furthermore, is the sound of the Vedas permanent or impermanent? If it is said to be impermanent, then it should be man-made, because it is newly produced from the efforts of the tongue, etc. If it is said to be permanent, then your self-holding hearing should be able to constantly perceive it, because for the permanent dharma that can be perceived by it, there is no obstacle to being perceived by it. If it is said that there is no fault because it is not heard when some co-occurring factors and efforts are incomplete, it is easy to see that the cause producing the result depends on other conditions in any case. The Vedic sound that has become the object of hearing, determining it as a nature that has not previously become the object of hearing, is contradictory, because becoming the object of hearing depends on conditions. Furthermore, does the sound of the Vedas pervade all places, or does it not pervade? If it is said that these sounds of the Vedas do not pervade all places, then the sound of the Vedas should not be perceived in all places other than one place, because it only exists in one place.
