是地狱处所。一切也是自业所感。欲界六天之身体大小：四大天王身高为四分之一由旬。上面的天人比下面的天人身高各增加四分之一由旬。他化自在天的身量要知道是二分之一由旬。色界的第一禅天梵众天的身量是半由旬。从其上面的少光天开始，依次往上，每一层都比下一层增加半由旬，要知道少光天是二由旬。从少光天以上到色究竟天之间，下一层比上一层身体大两倍。总的来说是这样，但特别指出的是：无云天的身量，在以下面的天身量乘以二的基础上，减去三由旬，要知道是一百二十五由旬。这样一来，色究竟天的身量就变成六万由旬了。然而，上界天的那些天人的身体，因为受到禅定的控制，所以没有任何阻碍，如果想的话，即使像用笔尖刺出的孔洞那么大也能容身，而且彼此之间也没有任何阻碍。这些也如经中所说：赡部洲人的身高，是四肘半。东方胜身洲和西方牛货洲，以及北方俱卢洲的身高都依次是前者的两倍。具有欲望的天人的身体，从四分之一由旬开始，到二分之一由旬之间增长。色界的第一禅天是半由旬。其上的天人身高依次增加半由旬。从少光天以上，身体的大小依次增加两倍。无云天要减去三由旬。就像这样说的。至于三恶道的身体大小，因为没有确定，所以在《阿毗达磨》等论著，以及相应的《念住经》等经典中可以了解到。第三是寿命：声闻天的寿命是一千年。西方牛货洲和东方胜身洲这两处，后面的寿命比前面的减少一半。西方是五百年，东方是二百五十年。在这个赡部洲，人们的寿命是不确定的，有时短，有时长，最终会变得很短，以至于寿命只有十岁。

It is the place of hell. Everything is also felt by one's own karma. The size of the bodies of the six desire realm gods: The Four Great Kings are one-fourth of a yojana in height. The higher gods increase by one-fourth of a yojana in height compared to the lower gods. The body size of the Paranirmita-vasavartin gods should be known to be between one and a half yojanas. The body size of the first dhyana heaven, the Brahma-parisadya, is half a yojana. Starting from the lesser light gods above them, each layer increases by half a yojana from the bottom up, and the lesser light gods should be known to be two yojanas. From the lesser light gods upwards to Akanistha, the higher ones are twice as large as the lower ones. Generally speaking, this is the case, but it is specifically pointed out that the body size of the cloudless heaven is one hundred and twenty-five yojanas, which is calculated by multiplying the body size of the lower heaven by two and then subtracting three yojanas. In this way, the body size of Akanistha becomes sixty thousand yojanas. However, the bodies of those gods in the upper realms are not obstructed by anything because they are controlled by samadhi. If they wish, they can fit into a space as small as a hole pierced by the tip of a pen, and there is no obstruction between them. These are also as stated in the sutras: The height of the people of Jambudvipa is four and a half cubits. The height of Purvavideha and Aparagodaniya in the east and north is twice that of the previous one. The bodies of the gods with desires increase from one-fourth of a yojana to one and a half yojanas. The first dhyana heaven is half a yojana. The height of the gods above it increases by half a yojana. From the lesser light gods upwards, the size of the body increases by two times. The cloudless heaven should subtract three yojanas there. It is said like this. As for the size of the bodies of the three evil realms, because it is not certain, it can be understood in the Abhidharma and other treatises, as well as in the corresponding Mindfulness Sutra and other scriptures. The third is lifespan: The lifespan of the Srauta gods is one thousand years. In Aparagodaniya in the west and Purvavideha in the east, the lifespan of the latter is reduced by half compared to the former. The west is five hundred years, and the east is two hundred and fifty years. In this Jambudvipa, the lifespan of people is uncertain, sometimes short and sometimes long, and eventually it will become very short, so that the lifespan is only ten years.

第一劫的人们的寿命是不可估量的，因为无法用千等来计算。诸神的寿命是：人类的五十年是四大天王的一天，三十天为一月，十二个月为一年，四大天王能活五百岁。昼夜和寿命的长度，三十三天及以上，下下层比上上层小两倍。要知道，人类的一百年是三十三天的昼夜，能活一千年等等。有色界诸神的寿命是：以自身测量工具的每一个量度和每一劫相等，有多少量度就计算多少劫的寿命。其中，从梵众天到大梵天，以半大劫为一劫来计算。从少光天开始，以大劫的量度来计算。这样，梵众天之间有二十中劫，梵辅天之间有四十劫为一（大）劫，大梵天之间有六十中劫为一劫半，从少光天两大劫，到色究竟天能活一万六千大劫。要知道。无色界众生，上层比下层多两万劫。这样，无边虚空处天能活两万劫，有顶天能活八万劫。地狱的寿命是：从等活地狱到热地狱之间的六种地狱的寿命，与六欲天神的寿命依次对应，它们的昼夜长度相当于欲界天神的寿命，寿命的年数也和欲界天神一样。这样，四大天王的寿命是：等活地狱的一天是他们的五百岁寿命。他化自在天的寿命是热地狱的一天，年数也和他们的年数一样。极热地狱能活半劫，无间地狱的寿命能活一劫。寿命长的旁生，如龙等，能活一劫。经中说：比丘们，这八大龙王能住持一劫。这样说。人类的一个月是它们的昼夜。

The lifespan of the first kalpa's people is immeasurable, as it cannot be counted by thousands, etc. The lifespan of the gods is: fifty human years is one day for the Four Great Kings, thirty days make a month, and twelve months make a year, the Four Great Kings can live five hundred years. Both the length of day and lifespan, thirty-three and above, each lower level is twice smaller than the upper level. Know that one hundred human years is the day and night of the Thirty-Three, and they can live a thousand years, and so on. The lifespan of the gods with form is: each measure of their own body's measuring tool is equal to each kalpa, and the lifespan is calculated by how many kalpas there are in the measure. Among them, from the Brahma Assembly to the Great Brahma, calculate by making half a great kalpa as one kalpa. Starting from the Lesser Light, calculate by the measure of a great kalpa. Thus, there are twenty intermediate kalpas between the Brahma Assembly, forty kalpas between the Brahma Retinue as one (great) kalpa, sixty intermediate kalpas between the Great Brahma as one and a half kalpas, from the Lesser Light two great kalpas, to the Akanishtha they can live sixteen thousand great kalpas. Know this. The formless beings, the upper levels increase by twenty thousand kalpas more than the lower levels. Thus, the Space of Infinite Consciousness can live twenty thousand kalpas, and the Peak of Existence can live eighty thousand kalpas. The lifespan of hell is: the lifespan of the six hells from the Reviving Hell to the Hot Hell corresponds to the lifespan of the six desire realm gods in order, and the length of their days and nights is equivalent to the lifespan of the desire realm gods, and the number of years of their lifespan is the same as the desire realm gods. Thus, the lifespan of the Four Great Kings is: one day of the Reviving Hell is their five hundred years of lifespan. The lifespan of the Paranirmitavasavartin is one day of the Hot Hell, and the number of years is the same as their number of years. The Extremely Hot Hell can live half a kalpa, and the lifespan of the Avici Hell can live one kalpa. Long-lived animals, such as dragons, can live one kalpa. The sutras say: Bhikshus, these eight great dragon kings can uphold a kalpa. Thus it is said. One month of humans is their day and night.
