If so, then the reasoning of conjunction etc. could be closely connected. But since it is not, this is just your wishful thinking. If the Madhyamikas had some valid reasons to express their own system, and some self-established things to express what is to be proven, then the reasoning of connecting the proof and what is to be proven, conjunction and non-conjunction, etc., could be closely connected, and thus refutation could be done. But since we do not have self-established proofs etc., you pointing out to us that there are similar faults in your own words is just wishful thinking. For example, just as the vision of a person with cataracts does not harm a person without cataracts, so too, for those who speak of no self-nature, fully grasping the views of both sides and making refutations does not cause harm. Therefore, those examples that establish that the eye and the magnet etc. can each perform their functions without conjunction should also be prohibited, because for those examples too, there will be the same fault of inference. Furthermore, To make things realize that they are without self-nature, Is easy like this, but for others, It is not easy to establish that self-nature exists, Why do they create bonds in this world with evil thoughts? Just as dreams and illusions etc., for those who say that things are established in their own view, just relying on these examples, it is easy to make inner and outer things realize that they are without self-nature. But for other Madhyamikas, it is not easy to establish that things have self-nature, because there are no examples that both sides accept, because we do not admit even a little self-nature in anything. In this way, I can refute all debates, and no one can say anything to refute. Therefore, why, like a silkworm in the world, on top of being wrapped in the cocoon of one's own thoughts, weave an extremely strong net with the thread of evil thoughts to fully bind oneself? Furthermore, by understanding the remaining part of the refutation mentioned above, one should answer the questions of conjunction and observation etc. As for how to carry out a thorough refutation, and whether there is refutation etc., one should understand through the remaining part mentioned earlier. The remaining part of the refutation for those who say that cause and effect are self-established

Previously, it has been shown above that things are prohibited from arising from the four extremes, etc. Knowing this, whatever opponent uses your refutation to refute, whether encountering or not encountering, as an answer to the examination of refutation, etc., both the object of refutation and the subject of refutation do not arise from the four extremes, therefore, whether encountering or not encountering cannot be distinguished. This should be said, and in our treatises, we only intend to express the reversal of concepts, not to establish some of our own tenets, or to eliminate other tenets, because no object to be eliminated is found at all. Therefore, we have no fault in being attacked by any refutation, as has been said before. The remaining refutations such as these should be understood by that tenet itself. Thus, from "whether that itself arises from that" to "if distinguished, liberation will be swift," the selflessness has been extensively shown. From "afflictions and faults, etc." to this point, the selflessness of the person has been extensively shown. Showing the two selflessnesses combined. Having extensively explained the two selflessnesses in this way, wanting to briefly show the distinctions, it is said: This selflessness is for the sake of liberating beings, It is taught as two by distinguishing phenomena and persons. This selflessness, if summarized, is taught as two by distinguishing the selflessness of phenomena and the selflessness of persons. Why are the two selflessnesses shown? It is for the sake of liberating sentient beings, who are to be tamed, from afflictions and the obscurations of knowledge. Thus, for the sake of liberating the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas from the obscuration of afflictions, the selflessness of the person is shown. For the sake of liberating the Mahayana practitioners from the obscuration of knowledge, the selflessness of phenomena is shown. If it is said that Hearers and Solitary Realizers also have realization of the selflessness of phenomena, then why is only the selflessness of the person shown to them? Although it is true, those people do not take the knowledge of knowable objects as important, therefore they do not fully cultivate the selflessness of phenomena. Therefore, the selflessness of phenomena is not extensively shown to them, and they are completely liberated.
