When analyzing in the manner of debate, because the entity of the chariot is not truly established, and also the term 'chariot' is admitted to have a true meaning. We do not have this fault, like this: That, in the ultimate and conventional, Is not established by seven aspects, Without analysis, in the world itself, It is designated relying on its own limbs. That chariot, when searched for with the seven aspects in the manner described, is not established in either the ultimate or the conventional. However, without such analysis, merely in the world itself, relying on its own limbs such as nails and wheels, the term 'buy a chariot' etc. is designated. In this regard, not only is the term 'chariot' established through worldly convention, but also whatever differences there are in this name, those too should be admitted without analysis through worldly convention. To show this, it is said: The chariot itself is that which has limbs, That which has parts, and the agent, And the taker, in the world it is established, Therefore, the conventional of worldly convention should not be refuted. The chariot itself, in name, is also that which has limbs in relation to its own limbs such as spokes, and that which has parts in relation to parts such as spokes, and the agent in relation to taking spokes etc., and the action of taking, and the taker in relation to its own vicinity. Thus, it is established in the world. Therefore, in one's own sect, those who only have a collection of limbs, but do not have that which has limbs in any way, only have parts, but do not have parts, only have action, but do not have an agent, have taking, but do not have a taker, etc., those who speak of the conventional of the world in a reversed manner, according to their view, those very reasons would also lead to the non-existence of limbs etc., because limbs and that which has limbs etc. are established in dependence on each other. Therefore, the conventional names of limbs and that which has limbs etc., which are known in the world, should not be refuted, because just as limbs etc. are established in name, so too are that which has limbs etc. established, and just as that which has limbs etc. are not established in the ultimate, so too are limbs.

Because things like carts are not established either. Because if this worldly convention is analyzed in this way, it will not exist. Precisely because it exists without being analyzed, yogis, if they analyze in this order, will very quickly fathom the depths of reality. How is it? How can that which is non-existent when sought with the sevenfold analysis exist? The yogi says, 'I do not find this to exist.' Therefore, one can easily enter into Suchness. Here, one should also accept its establishment in the same way. If there were something called a cart that existed by its own nature, then one would find its self-existence by any of the seven modes, but it is not found. Therefore, the yogi, properly contemplating, asks, 'How can the cart, which is not found when sought with the sevenfold analysis, exist?' Therefore, one should ascertain that the thing called a cart is only conceived by those who are deluded by the cataract of ignorance, and it does not exist by its own nature. One will also easily enter into the meaning of Suchness. Moreover, the word 'also' indicates that convention will not disappear either. Therefore, the establishment of the cart should be accepted in the same way as it is established without analysis. Here someone says: 'Although the yogi does not perceive the cart, isn't it the case that the mere collection of its parts is perceived and exists?' If someone seeks real silk in the ashes after a cloth has been burned, you are laughable! Just like this: If the cart does not exist, then the collection of parts does not exist. Because there is no collection of parts, its parts do not exist either. Because when the cart does not exist, the collection of parts does not exist, therefore, the parts that depend on it do not exist either. If the cart is broken, don't you see the spokes and so on? Why do you say that if there is no collection of parts, there are no parts? That is not so. Only someone who has seen a cart before, when he sees the spokes and so on existing separately, will realize that these are parts of a cart. Others will not know that these are related to the cart. Therefore, without the cart, the parts of the cart do not exist. To clarify this point with an example: When the fire of wisdom burns the collection of parts, how can the parts exist?

Just as the parts of a chariot burn when the chariot burns. For example, when a chariot burns, its parts will also necessarily burn. Similarly, when the fire of wisdom arising from the friction of discernment burns the body of the "chariot" that has parts, and it cannot be observed, the parts also do not exist and cannot be observed, because they will necessarily be burned. Second, to show the meaning through examples. This includes two situations: the actual occasion meaning, and other similar things represented by it. The first is: Similarly, relying on the aggregates, realms, and six sense bases that are known in the world, I am also considered to be the one who takes closely. Just as a chariot is assembled by relying on spokes and other parts, the spokes and other parts are the close taking, and the chariot is the one who takes closely. In order to establish the conventional truth that is known in the world, relying on the five aggregates, the six inner realms, and the six sense bases, thereby clinging to "I", therefore the aggregates and so on are the close taking of "I", and I am also considered to be the one who takes them closely. Similarly, close taking is action, this is the agent. Just as the distinction between close taking and the one who takes closely is established in worldly concepts, form and other close takings are actions, and this "I" is also established as the agent, because through the virtuous or non-virtuous actions accumulated by "I", the aggregates of good or bad destinies are conceptually taken. Therefore, when "I" is established as being established in dependence on conditions, it is not the basis for being considered permanent or impermanent, etc. Because here, just as it is not real, therefore it is not permanent, nor is it non-impermanent. For this, permanence and so on do not exist, it is neither the same nor different. This "I" is merely established in dependence on conditions, because it is not a thing that is inherently real, therefore it is not the permanence that appeared in past lives. As it is said in the treatise: It is unreasonable to say that it arose in the past. What was born in previous lives is not the same as this. If you say that it is the same, the close taking will become different. Apart from the close taking, your
