Non-existent in that very entity, also in the world, not existent, likewise the essence of all these things, does not arise in the world by itself. Just as the son of a barren woman does not exist in both the ultimate truth and the worldly convention by his own nature, likewise all these things such as form are only without arising in both the worldly convention and the ultimate truth by their very nature. The so-called arising by nature means arising by one's own characteristics without depending on the mind. Why is it like that? Therefore, the teacher thus teaches that all phenomena are, from the very beginning, peaceful, free from arising, by nature, completely extinguished, therefore there is no constant arising. As it is said in the sutra: When turning the wheel of Dharma, from the very beginning, peaceful and unborn, the Dharma of self-nature nirvana, the protector, you have shown. As the teacher, the Bhagavan, said, therefore there is no constant arising in all things. Among them, because wisdom is the realm of peace, all dharmas are peaceful. Why is that? Because it is not born of its own nature. The reason for this is also because it is extinguished by its own nature. The so-called from the very beginning is not only unborn in the state of the yogi's wisdom, but also before that, in the state of worldly convention, the meaning that all dharmas are not born by nature. Thus, at the time of turning the wheel of Dharma, you have shown the dharmas, thus, by means of expressing excellent qualities, the Bodhisattva Sarvanivaranaviskambhin praises the Bhagavan. Furthermore, the Sautrantikas and Vaibhashikas of one's own school should not refute and examine that if things do not exist in the ultimate truth, they do not exist in the conventional truth, because there is an example known in one's own doctrine. Like this: These things such as pots are not in that very entity, but exist as extremely famous in the world. Likewise, all things, because of change, should not become the fault of being the same as the son of a barren woman. According to your view, pots and forests are also merely imputed.

Because if it is not the ultimate truth and exists in the common worldly understanding, then all phenomena such as form will also transform in that way. If it does not exist in the ultimate sense, then in conventional terms, it will not become entirely non-existent like the child of a barren woman. If a pot can be designated because there exist substances such as earth and water that serve as the basis for designating the pot, then according to the view that all phenomena are merely designations, how can it not become a fault like the child of a barren woman since there is no basis for designation? This is also unreasonable because it is impossible to establish that the basis for designation, etc., are substantially existent. For example: Without form, etc., How can a pot exist? Likewise, without wind, etc., Form also does not exist. Similarly: Earth, water, fire, and wind, Each has no inherent nature. Without three, one does not exist, Without one, the three do not exist. If without three, one also does not exist, Without one, the three also do not exist. Each is not self-existent, How can conditioned things arise? As it is said, and so on. Therefore, for example, relying on the mere designated existence of the collection of a mirror and a face, one can perceive a mere designated image; relying on observable existent pillars, etc., one can designate a house; similarly, relying on trees as a basis, one can designate a forest; just as in a dream, one can see a sprout arising from a seed that has no unarisen nature, in the same way, the designation of all designatedly existent things should also be based on a designatedly existent basis. As it is said in the scriptures: The emanation of the Tathagata, Emanates with perfect miraculous powers, And so on, like a Gandharva city, Like a mirage or a dream. Thus it is said. The Explanation of Conventional Arising as Dependent Origination Third, the explanation of conventional arising as dependent origination, which has two parts: the main text and the benefits of dependent origination. The first part is: If you refute arising from the four extremes, then how can you ascertain the conventional arising of consciousness from ignorance and action, and the arising of sprouts, etc., from seeds, etc.? In response to this:
