Although there isn't, at that time the speaker who speaks Madhyamaka is not like that, but takes the reasonable points of any object theory as the basis, in order to refute others. This principle is like some doctors who gradually give patients medicines that mature, gather, expel, and do not relapse the disease to treat the disease, it should be understood. As mentioned above, relying on the unerring principle of the two truths, ultimately refuting all extreme views is like using a single dose of powerful herbal medicine to eradicate all diseases at once, it should be understood. Explaining the Intent of Speaking of Mind-Only Third, explaining the intent of speaking of Mind-Only has three aspects: explaining the intent of the Sutra of Ten Grounds, showing that form and mind are the same in existence or non-existence, and explaining the intent of other Sutras. First, if even if it is unreasonable, one is afraid of worldly harm and accepts the conventional, then because of the fear of scriptural harm, one must also accept Mind-Only, as the Sutra of Ten Grounds says: "They think, like this, these three realms are only mind. The twelve branches of existence, which the Tathagata has separately explained, all rely on one mind." Therefore, the force of the word "only" prevents form itself, and shows that only consciousness is truly established. This is the statement of the Mind-Only school. Refuting this is divided into two points: explaining that the word "only" has the meaning of preventing other agents, and explaining that mind is more important than form. The first point is further divided into two points, the first point is: The meaning of the sutra is not as you think. Then what is it? Therefore it is said: Manifestly inclined Bodhisattva, Three existences only consciousness realized, Constant self agent prevented, Knowing agent is only mind. Because of inclining to the realm of Dharma, it is called manifest, that is, the three existences of Mind-Only realized by the Bodhisattva who dwells on the sixth ground, its meaning is that the agent of external and internal phenomena in the subsequent attainment of the Bodhisattva is not true.

Because it is realized that this is only mind of the nature of the fully conceptualized. Therefore, it is realized that the agent, such as the self and the chief, of a permanent nature does not exist. Therefore, it is said that way. As it is said in the Sutra itself: Thus, the aggregate of suffering, the tree of suffering, this mere absence of an agent and a liver will become manifestly accomplished, it is thought. He thinks this way: By manifestly clinging to the agent, the actions will exist. Where there is no agent, there, in reality, no action is seen. He thinks this way: Like this, these three realms are only mind. And so on, it is extensively said. If you ask, how do you know that the meaning of the Sutra is like that? Second, to quote the Sutra to explain its intention with other Sutras: Therefore, for the sake of increasing the intelligence of the wise, The Omniscient One from the Lankavatara Sutra, To destroy the towering peak of the heretics' mountain, Spoke this vajra word to cut off the intention. Because mind-only is the agent, therefore, for the sake of increasing the wisdom of the wise Bodhisattvas who realize selflessness, from the Holy Lankavatara, the Omniscient One spoke words like vajra fire to destroy the mountain peak of the evil view of the minds of the heretics, such as self and chief, the mountain peak being extremely high and lush. "Sentient beings, aggregates, and conditions, As well as atoms and nature, etc., Isvara and agents, etc., I have said are only mind." Why is this necessity spoken? In order to completely cut off and clarify the intention of what is said about mind-only. Second, explaining the meaning of the Sutra: As it says in his own treatise: Those sentient beings, etc., spoken of by the heretics, Not seeing them as agents, The Victorious One said that mind-only is the agent of the world. The external and internal heretics say in their respective treatises that sentient beings and Isvara, etc., are the agents of phenomena, but the Victorious One did not see these as the agents of phenomena even nominally, so nominally, mind-only itself is the agent of the world. That which is called the Lankavatara
