Okay. So how does a yogi know the future? If the future does not exist by its own nature, then how, as you wish, can a yogi directly know it? But it is not completely non-existent either, because it arises dependent on causes and conditions. Therefore, it is not completely invisible like the son of a barren woman. Therefore, since the future is interdependent, just as it will become something, through the power of aspiration and knowledge, the knowledge arises from a special samadhi, so the subsequent wisdom presumes to have the appearance of direct perception and prophesies. Because it is not present, it does not have the appearance of direct perception, but because it appears clearly through the power of meditation, it is not understood in a general way either. Since the future is interdependent, and not an objectless realm of the mind, the yogi's aspiration-knowledge will not become confused. The wisdom of the Buddhas who know the three times is due to the power of past aspirations. When they speak the Dharma that reveals the meaning as it is, the disciples who become vessels for hearing this Dharma, when they understand the meaning from the sound, will truly understand the meaning as it is. At other times, they will also understand the prophecies made by the Tathagata as they are. Relying only on this, it is said that the Tathagata has unobstructed wisdom regarding the knowable of the three times, that's all. For those who have entered the nature of Dharma, there is no seeing or speaking of any meaning. Furthermore, for anyone who claims that the future exists by its own nature, the future will not be distant, because it has its own nature like the present. But this is not what is desired, because if someone asks: What are the distant dharmas? The answer is: the past and the future. If someone asks: What are the near dharmas? The answer is: what is happening now, because this has been admitted. If this person, because of meeting a virtuous friend, matures his faculties through hearing the Dharma, and the dharmas of generosity and morality, etc., which arise from this, even if not done, have their own nature, then the effort of guarding, which is necessary to accumulate them, will become meaningless, because even without it,
