In short, this Treatise of Four Hundred is called the "Treatise of One Hundred" because the word "four" is omitted, and in order to eliminate various conceptualizations. It is a treatise composed to subdue attachments. It is called the "Treatise of One Hundred" because the initial word "four (Sanskrit: catu)" is omitted, and in order to eliminate various conceptualizations. It itself is a treatise to subdue various attachments. Therefore, it is named the Treatise of One Hundred through its function. The second part is about the content of the limbs, divided into explaining the path of maturation based on the conventional truth and explaining the path of liberation based on the ultimate truth. First, in the first part, it is further divided into eliminating the four inverted obstacles and explaining the conducive conditions such as the conduct of Bodhicitta. Among the four contents in the first part, the first is: Because (practicing impurity meditation, etc.) is in accordance with renunciation, and because understanding it makes it easier to comprehend suffering, etc., therefore, in order to fully clarify how things exist in the conventional, it is first explained to cultivate impermanence as an antidote to the inversion of permanence. Among these, it is further divided into the actual method of cultivating impermanence and explaining its benefits. The first part is further divided into meditating on remembering one's own death and explaining that one should not grieve for the death of others. The first part is further divided into briefly encouraging diligence through remembering death and elaborating in detail through debate and answers. The first is: For beings who have not yet been liberated from the Lord of Death's demon, whether it is underground, on the ground, or above the ground, whether it is the desire realm, the form realm, or the formless realm, for the independent ones who indulge in the pleasures of the three realms and exercise power, the King of Death is not driven by others, nor does he drive others himself, but he himself is the Lord of Death, that is, the one who cuts off the lives of beings, and no one's power can stop him. Just like an executioner raising a sword, being seized by the omens of death, or like one's head or clothes catching fire, in order to destroy the demon of the Lord of Death, one must strive to cultivate the noble path. If one is drowsy and does not respect the methods of counteracting death, like the real ones who have already destroyed the demon of the Lord of Death, such as the Buddha and Arhats, then for the negligent person
