Refuting the two realities and the three aggregates: According to which school's view, since afflictions and birth are absent in it, Nirvana is of the nature of non-reality, and since it itself is the essence of reality, it is also of the nature of reality. Even according to those who say so, it is not reasonable. If Nirvana is: Both real and unreal, If real and unreal things, Become liberation, it is unreasonable. If the nature of Nirvana is both real and unreal, then, all realities that have obtained the nature of formations, and the unreal that is separated from it, will all become liberation. The statement that formations become liberated is also unreasonable, therefore it is unreasonable. Furthermore, if Nirvana is: Both real and unreal, (Real and unreal things, If they become liberation, it is unreasonable. If Nirvana is: Both real and unreal, These root verses are missing.) Nirvana is not non-dependent, Because those two are dependent. If the nature of Nirvana is both real and unreal, then, Nirvana is dependent on the collection of causes and conditions, not non-dependent, because those two are dependent, because it is unreal dependent on reality, and it is real dependent on unreality. Furthermore, how is Nirvana: Both real and unreal, Nirvana is unconditioned, Real and unreal are conditioned. How can Nirvana be both real and unreal? It will not be so. Why? Because Nirvana is considered unconditioned, while real and unreal are conditioned, like this, reality arises from the collection of its own causes and conditions, and unreality also arises dependent on reality, and old age and death occur because of birth. Therefore, Nirvana should not be real and unreal. If Nirvana is not real and unreal, but if it is thought that there are real and unreal things in it, that is also unreasonable, how does Nirvana have: Real and unreal

There are two. How can there be two contradictory things, existence and non-existence, in one nirvana? It is thought that it is not existent. Why? Because these two cannot exist in one thing, like light and darkness. Existence and non-existence cannot exist in one nirvana, just as two contradictory things, light and darkness, cannot exist in one room at the same time. Fourth, refuting the third category of non-duality: If someone says that nirvana is neither existent nor non-existent, it is unreasonable. If non-existence and existence are established, then by negating them, the state of being neither existent nor non-existent can be established. However, when both existence and non-existence do not exist, their negation also does not exist. Therefore, this statement is unreasonable. Furthermore: If nirvana is neither existent nor non-existent, then who can realize the nirvana that is neither existent nor non-existent? If someone thinks that nirvana is neither existent nor non-existent, then who realizes this nirvana that is neither existent nor non-existent? Is there someone who realizes this kind of nirvana? If there is, then there would also be self in nirvana, but this is impossible, because there is no grasping, so there cannot be self. If there is not, then who determines that this kind of nirvana exists? If it is said to be someone who is in samsara, then is it determined by consciousness or by wisdom? First, it is unreasonable to do so through consciousness, because consciousness takes characteristics as its object, and there are no characteristics in nirvana. It is also impossible to determine it through wisdom, because wisdom must take emptiness as its object, and that is the nature of no-birth, the essence of transcending all elaborations.
