What is it? What is not the end and the endless? What is that itself? What is other? What is permanent? What is impermanent? What are both permanent and impermanent? What is neither of the two? When all things are empty of inherent existence, and there is no difference between samsara and nirvana. What is there to examine from what is called having an end to what is neither of the two? These fourteen un-elucidated objects should not be examined for the emptiness of inherent existence of things, because where there is no basis for distinction, there is no way to examine the dharma of distinction. Therefore, one should understand that if someone fabricates the inherent nature of things, generates these views, and clings to them, this will block the path to the city of nirvana and bind one to the suffering of samsara. Sixth, refuting the rejection of nirvana: If you thus reject nirvana, then wouldn't it be meaningless that the Bhagavan, being under the influence of great compassion, taught the Dharma that is in accordance with the antidotes to various actions, in order to enable the world to attain nirvana? All objects of focus are completely pacified, Proliferation is completely pacified, it is peaceful, The Buddhas, in whatever place, Have not taught any Dharma to anyone. If there were something called "Dharma," or a sentient being who hears it, or a teacher, then it would be so. However, when the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are like the king of swans in the sky, abiding by the wind of their own flapping wings, because the sky itself is nothing, just as the wind abides in the sky, nirvana is the pacification of proliferation because words do not enter, and it is peaceful because the mind does not enter, or it is the pacification of proliferation because afflictions do not enter; because there is no birth, therefore abiding in the nature of peace, abiding in a way that does not abide, at that time, all the signs of objects of focus are completely pacified, and because there is no object of focus, the Buddhas have not taught any Dharma of complete affliction or purification to any god or human in any realm of gods or humans, it should be understood. As it is said in the Noble Secret Sutra of the Tathagata: Peaceful wisdom, the night the Tathagata attained unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment

I attained complete and perfect enlightenment, and between that night and the night when I pass into nirvana without remainder, the Tathagata has not spoken a single syllable, nor will he speak. Thus it is said. How then do these extremely diverse terms of scripture arise? The statement that "the Blessed One has shown us these dharmas" is merely the other-appearance of those to be tamed, fabricated by their own conceptualization, by those beings who are bound by the sleep of ignorance and who are dreaming dreams. In the sight of the Tathagata, no dharma has been shown to anyone. As it is said: The Tathagata, the one without outflows, is like an image of virtuous dharma; here there is neither suchness nor such a gone one; all the world sees only the image. Thus it is said. Therefore, if there is a teaching of dharma, how could there be nirvana? Therefore, there is also no nirvana. Thus it is established. The Blessed One also said: There is no nirvana entering into nirvana, the protector of the world taught thus, the abandonment of a knot in the sky is the liberation by the sky itself. Thus it is said. This is the commentary on the chapter on nirvana from the Root Wisdom of the Middle Way, that is, the commentary on the twenty-fifth chapter. Explanation of the Twenty-fifth Chapter.
