If it transforms, then in that aspect, karma will be destroyed, what has been done will be in vain, and faults such as the arising of results from unmade karma will occur. Like this, if, like ordinary people, one avoids not wasting through the path of seeing, then because karma will be destroyed, the noble ones will not experience the maturation of previous karma, whether it is pleasant or unpleasant. If they experience it, then even unmade karma will produce results. Similarly, it should also be applied to the transfer of karma. From the same realm, similar parts arise, and all dissimilar parts, that at the time of connecting the continuum, only one will arise. The karmas of the same realm of the desire realm, form realm, and formless realm, whether virtuous or non-virtuous, all the not wasting of similar homogeneous parts and dissimilar heterogeneous parts, that when connecting the continuum in the three realms, however many not wastings there were previously, that many are destroyed, and only one not wasting arises for all. That is also of the same realm, and not of different realms. In seeing the Dharma, there are two kinds, all karma and that of karma, each arising differently, and even if matured, it remains. In this life of seeing the Dharma, with the distinction of contaminated and uncontaminated, all two kinds of not wasting, all karma of the nature of mind and thought and the not wasting of karma, however many different ones arise, that not wasting, even if maturation is extracted, will not cease to exist, and even if it exists, it is like becoming a pawn and cannot produce results. That is the transfer of fruit, and if death occurs, it will cease. Its classification is uncontaminated and, in general, contaminated and uncontaminated are determined by whether they are related or unrelated to the six gates of leakage, and whether or not the afflictions of the desire realm, existence, ignorance, and views have been abandoned, and whether or not the obscurations to knowledge have been abandoned. The six gates of leakage are, in the Compendium of Topics. (Note missing.) It should be known as contaminated. The cessation of not wasting is definitely two kinds, that is, the transfer of the fruit from the first fruit to the fourth fruit from the former to the latter, and when death occurs, it will cease. The cessation when the fruit is transferred is, through cultivation, it is also the abandonment itself.

It is like what was said before. Cessation at death is: As it is said, "At the time of connection, only one is born alone." It should be known that the distinction of non-perishing is twofold: unpolluted and polluted. Unpolluted dharmas are unpolluted, and polluted dharmas are polluted. Therefore, emptiness and non-interruption, samsara and impermanence, and actions are non-perishing dharmas, taught by the Buddhas. Because actions, after being done, do not abide by their nature of ceasing, it is reasonable to establish them as emptiness. In this way, there is no fault of annihilation because actions do not abide, because there is the fruit of actions held by non-perishing, because there is the dharma of non-perishing, and because there is no fault of harmony with the seed continuum. Therefore, the manifestation of the five realms of samsara, which are distinguished by paths, classes, birthplaces, and various realms, is also established. Actions do not abide by their own nature, so they are not permanent either. Because non-perishing exists, these dharmas called non-perishing actions are taught by the Buddha Bhagavan, who has awakened from the sleep of ignorance. Therefore, if actions remain until the time of ripening, then actions become permanent. Such faults do not occur in our school, and the permanence we speak of is reasonable, they say. Second, to refute this, it is shown that actions are without inherent existence. Non-inherent existence is divided into two: illustrating what can be done and what can be acted upon with examples. First, it is divided into four parts: refuting the nature of actions, refuting the cause, refuting the result, and refuting the enjoyer of the ripened result. The first part is: If actions themselves are not reasonable, then you arguing about the cause of their ripened result is like being extremely worried about the collapse of the walls of a city of dryads and becoming very tired from the labor of protecting it, which is something to be laughed at by the wise. If actions were to arise by their own nature, then if they remained until the ripening of the result, they would become permanent, and if they perished, they would become annihilated. Because actions do not arise, they are thus without inherent existence. Because actions do not arise by nature, they are without inherent existence and are empty.
