If it is established, for the Madhyamaka itself, the subject of the argument is not established, so there will be the fault of violating the commitment and the reason not being established, is that so? The reason and example put forward by the Madhyamaka have the result of preventing the opponent's commitment, but it is not to establish one's own tenet, therefore, the subject of the argument and the reasoning, etc., not being established for oneself, there will be no fault whatsoever. If it is said that being extremely established for both is establishment, then for the inference for the sake of others, is it not that being established for both the debater and the opponent is the main thing? That is said in terms of establishing one's own system, but for reversing others' wrong conceptions, being established for oneself alone is the main thing, not being established for both, because in the time of debate, merely stating that one's own words and commitments contradict each other can refute the other party. In this way, just as it is said above, merely stating the inference that follows the fame of others will satisfy those who hold that the opponent is the main object of inference, therefore, for refuting others' systems, applying one's own continuum of inference is also meaningless. If it is said that even if it is not necessary to refute the other party, it is necessary to state the reason and example of one's own continuum in order to establish one's own system, is that so? For establishing one's own system, one's own continuum is also meaningless, because the Madhyamaka does not commit to any of its own systems. In this way, those who have already had realization only accept the meaning established by the valid cognition that they trust, not the meaning that the valid cognition has not established, because that would be to be someone without realization. The Madhyamaka only takes the wisdom of the noble one's equipoise as not deceiving, therefore, as a valid cognition, the direct perception and inference that are known as valid cognitions to the world are not valid cognitions of trust, because they are deceiving, for example, like grasping at a mirage as water. Therefore, in the Samadhiraja Sutra, it says: Eyes, nose, and ears are not valid cognitions, tongue, body, and mind are also not. If those faculties were valid, what use would there be for the noble path? Therefore, these faculties are not valid cognitions and are unrevealed by their very nature. Therefore, whoever desires the path to nirvana, should engage in the activities of the noble path. Thus it was taught. The meaning established by the wisdom of the noble ones is also atoms.
