Among all objects of reliance, the most supreme is the peak of the renowned and beneficial King of Mountains, or even the mountainside or foot of the mountain. Take a black triangular stone, about the size of a meatball or fingertip, and take it with a curved knife or the tip of a knife. Without touching it with your hands, wrap it in paper, and on one side write the golden syllable Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum), and on the right write the life of its action deity, and on the left write the seed syllable of its mother. As above, wrap it with a scroll of mantra, and wearing or carrying it is the supreme life stone of the Protector. Likewise, take a blue conch shell stone, without touching it with your hands, take it with a spoon or ladle. Write or do not write Sanskrit Romanization: bhyoḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Hey), wrap it with mantra, it is the support of the goddess. Write ཕུཿ (Tibetan: ཕུཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: फुः, Sanskrit Romanization: phuḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Phew), wrap it with mantra, it is the life stone of the Naga. If the external support is a horse or yak, first wash it with water sprinkled with the Namjom Dharani (Vajravidāraṇa Dhāraṇī). Smear tsampa on the horns, and on both ears and shoulders, attach blue and red ribbons and protective cords. Whatever it is, the scroll of the essence of the deity, attach it in the gap between the ear or shoulder. At the time of the fulfillment offering, entrust it with the task of increasing people and wealth and protecting them. Do not cut the hair or slaughter the animal, and do not load it with loads of manure or other bad things. Even when looking at it occasionally, if you focus on merging with it, you will be brave against wild animals and thieves. It will also protect the herd of similar domestic animals. Likewise, the matter of making a hand drum, such as Katok Monastery, large monasteries, etc., because there is no share to be obtained, it is said that it is not appropriate to make it. Whoever has the appearance of a gray and yellow mantra practitioner can make it. Inside the life tree above the heart vein, insert the invocation mantra and recitation mantra of the Dharma protectors. Insert a long scroll of mantra to dispel epidemics around the waist. Inserting a scroll of cleansing mantra at the base is the method of making a neuter hand drum by Orgyen (Padmasambhava). Attach scrolls from three directions inside the hand drum. Or it can be placed inside wood. This is the method of not relying on the handle of the hand drum, but having to carry the hand drum and travel around. The iron is meteoric iron, from the Malaya Mountains. The drum surface is the black raven, an emanation of the Protector. The handle is the wood of the wish-fulfilling tree from the northeast. It symbolizes the dwelling place of the glorious goddess (Palden Lhamo). During the time of expelling evil, constantly merge with it. For monasteries, Lhakhangs, tribes, etc., repeatedly entrust the responsibility of protecting and saving. This is the supreme method of protecting its territory and monastery.

Oṃ! Moreover, by hanging Sera sky-blue banners and red pennants, black banners, and Dharma protector banners inscribed with mantras, the key to the swift gathering of Dharma protectors and guardian deities is the common practice of gods and demons gathering on banners. It is said that these are the common supports of Dharma protectors, easy to obtain by anyone with little effort and great significance. On the twelfth day of the dark moon of the Horse year's middle month, Rāga Asya spoke in the manner of oral instruction. (765) For the benefit of new small mantra practitioners, the mantra yogi Tsedzin Gyatso wrote these down. If there are any errors, I confess to the guardian deities. May this virtue cause the teachings of mantras to flourish! Chapter Forty-eight, auspicious and complete! The names of our Dharma protector are: Gonpo (Lord) Ekajati of Lhodrak, also called this. Shawawa (Deer) running and falling of Zangkar Lotsawa, also called this. Crow diving and vomiting of Nyalwa Nyima Öser, also called this. Myurpa (Swift One) vomiting blood of Gyalwa Josay, also called this. This Dharma protector is the practice of the combined assembly of Mahakalas, also called the Mahakala combined practice of the teacher Arnapa. Mahakala fire razor of Mal Gyo Lotsawa, also called this. Mahakala Destroyer of the teacher Nyima Öser, also called this. Mahakala Bengchen of Gyalwa Josay, also called this. Mahakala Iron Parma of Lama Raschen, also called this. Ultimately, the name of this Mahakala is: Glorious Wisdom Mahakala Black Cloaked One. (766) This Mahakala is extremely powerful and possesses great magical abilities. In the Tantra Garland of Flames, the Bhagavan spoke to the Black Mahakala: "Noble son, your power is such that it shakes the three realms and brings the three worlds under your control. It agitates the desire realm and subdues it with force, casts the three thousand worlds to another place, cuts off the flow of all elements, swallows the great ocean in one gulp, devours Mount Meru into your belly, completely destroys hostile obstacles and all demons. Your laughter is such that the gods faint from the laughter of rebuke, causing demons and heretics to tremble, fainting to the point of death. You gather miracles at will, even stealing the minds of the assemblies of Matrikas. With the sound of Hūṃ (吽,hūṃ,hūṃ,destroying) you control the three realms, with Phaṭ (ཕཊ,phaṭ,phaṭ,cutting) you liberate the three thousand worlds simultaneously. With Phai (ཕཻ༚,phai, phai, destroying) you shake the worl
