Yogis of single-pointed concentration, medium and great, With good causes of death and small crucial instructions, If there is someone to urge practice, it can be accomplished, But there are many faults in that way. It is clear from some introductions to the Six Yogas. Since single-pointedness is experience and realization is not attained, If there is great attachment to the experience of bliss and clarity (652), Even if the practice is clear and very stable, It is certain to be born in the realms of desire and form. That practice entered with holding onto the experience of emptiness, Will be born in the four formless realms, Being in a place without leisure, they are long-lived gods. Therefore, as explained from the beginning of "Hearing and Liberation," Repeatedly give oral instructions. From those attachments to experience, The nature of realization free from elaboration will be seen. It is said that small single-pointedness does not accomplish practice. However, the pride of the deity in the generation stage, If it is stable, it will be accomplished and stable for a long time. In the generation stage of tangible reality that is not clarity and emptiness, The tantras say there are hundreds of faults. By meditating on peace, one is born as a god in the desire and form realms. By meditating on wrath, one is born as a demon and rakshasa. By meditating on a skull image, one is born as a flesh-eating rakshasi. By focusing the mind on the syllable Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) as a real object, It is said that one will be born in the body of a snake. If vows (653) are broken and one visualizes the wrathful form, The embodied form of that deity will be born as a ghost. There are countless stories of such occurrences. If such a stable practice arises, Read the manifestation realization of whatever deity it is. Also, do not meditate on tangible, solid objects. Meditate on appearance and emptiness like a water moon and rainbow, Repeatedly clarify, and eliminate that obstacle. Even if thick dullness of calm abiding arises, It is not counted as practice, It is said that there are those who remain in the aggregates for seven days. Look at the nature of abiding in that, It is said to be a state where there is neither emptiness nor clarity. I wonder if a little introduction will be of any help. These are those who have entered the Dharma, There is no need to give introductions to ordinary people. Be careful with the transference meditation that proclaims the name of the Buddha. Although the transference at the pillow is only once, If the neck vein is cut, for seven or three days, By meditating in four sessions, increase the number of times to about a hundred (654). For the sake of hoping for happiness and suffering in the next life, Just by chanting at the pillow

Do not stop the ritual. Do a Phowa practice similar to changing shifts. This is more important than other rituals and Dharma practices. No prayer is needed except for visualization. After that, starting from the separation of body and mind, do your best to perform purification, such as turning back. Identify liberation through hearing during the seven-day period. Especially in the third and fourth weeks, because that is almost the time of rebirth, repeatedly guide the way to the pure land. In order to abandon attachment, explain the faults of samsara. With clear samadhi, cast consciousness into that pure land. Visualize the projection method as explained separately. Around this, meditate single-mindedly in four sessions a day. Even if you meditate because of desire, it will not be beneficial, so in the state of generation and completion, union, and clear samadhi, meditate with strong love and compassion. If the power of sin is not very great, then relying on it will surely lead the deceased (655). Sinners who have committed the five inexpiable sins in this life, if Phowa can hit (the target) when the outer breath stops, they can also be led. But that will not be reborn in a pure land, but will be reborn in a pure place such as a celestial body or a human body. If Phowa does not hit (the target), then as soon as consciousness comes out of the anus, it will fall directly into hell like a stone thrown into water. There is no bardo for that, and that is called the direct penetration of butter. Except for those, all go through the bardo. Many are liberated through separate recognition. If liberated, there is no need to go to the court of Yama. If not liberated, Yama will dissect good and evil. Indicate the place of rebirth and the length of life there, and send it written on Yama's judgment. Those who have not done any good or evil, and are in a neutral state, will not be reborn anywhere, nor will they take a body, and their consciousness will wander, countless and unimaginable. The sentient beings born in the formless realm are similar to that, but not the same, (656) without memory, there is only a continuation of consciousness, and they do not take a body for eighty thousand kalpas. After that, after taking a body, they wander again in samsara. All of those are sentient beings in samsara. Liberation and Nirvana are called, the two types of Shravaka Arhats and Pratyekabuddha Arhats. In this life, all afflictions are cut off from the root, and because there is no rebirth forever, they are called Arhats. When he abandons the aggregates of life, he rises into the sky, and fire and water emanate from his body.
