And various philosophical schools. The sign of arguing after being divided into separate factions. In the king's dream, eighteen people divide a single piece of cloth. After dividing, each person receives one piece of cloth. However, the fundamental cloth is not damaged. Seeing this means that Shakyamuni's teachings will be divided into eighteen schools. Each will receive the complete teachings. The cloth of liberation will also not be damaged. Thus, your ten dreams are signs of what will happen in the future. It will not cause harm to you. Thus, quoting the teachings of the Golden Garland Story. The eighteen schools were compiled into the Buddha's words. This is the king's third council. Regarding this, there are many explanations, such as only the Sthavira school being considered the root, or the Sarvastivada school being considered the root, but in the secret mantra, in the Hevajra and Sambhuta, the four root chakras are said to be the names of the four schools, and in the Kalachakra, the four schools arise from the four faces, so only the four root schools are reasonable. The great scholar Sakya Pandita, one called Lachen committed three acts of immediate retribution, took the sign of self-arising, and was known as an Arhat. Gathering many followers, he disturbed the Dharma. After the Buddha's Nirvana, gathering ordinary followers, there seems to be a saying that there is no more than this. It is worth investigating what the source of this saying is.

The southern mountain of the snowy land, named "Bimala Svabhava." A hundred thousand kotis of Buddha's sons gathered, and it is said that Manjushri, Maitreya, and Vajrapani, the three lords, compiled the Sutra Pitaka, Vinaya Pitaka, and Mother Tantras. Here, let alone each of the three Pitakas, even each name of the Dharma is immeasurable. Because the Buddha said that for all the names of the Dharma, even the amount of a single hair cannot be measured. Here, there is no mention of a second compilation, etc. The ocean of Vajrayana tantras, compiled by the questioners and the assembly of dakinis, constantly resides in the pure lands without decay, such as the pure land of Oddiyana's incarnation. According to the meaning of straightforwardness, just as the appearances of those to be tamed, the compilers of the Buddha's words also appear as many. The slightly certain meaning is that all the Buddha's words, the compiler is only the secret lord Vajrapani. It is said in the sutras that it is by the power of aspiration. In the Kalachakra, it is said that the heart of all the victors, the only gathered mind, is Vajrapani. The extremely certain meaning is that the teacher, the compiler, and all the Dharmas to be explained are inseparable from one wisdom, showing that all are co-emergent and one entity. Thus, the precious teachings that were compiled, the perfectly enlightened Buddha entrusted to Mahakashyapa. Also, Ananda, Shanakavasa, Upagupta, Dhitika, then Michaka, Dharmanandi, Buddhamitra, Parshva Bhikshu, Sunaksatra, Asvaghosa, Sivala, Nagarjuna, Aryadeva, Rahula, Sanghanandi, Arhat Gayashata, Kumarajiva, Jayata, Vasubandhu, Manita, Hakalina, and successively entrusted up to Simha Bhikshu, this is from the connection of the Lankavatara Sutra. This is the transmission lineage of the common vehicle's teachings. The uncommon teachings of the Mahayana are that Manjushri Bodhisattva embraced the noble Nagarjuna, Maitreya Bodhisattva embraced Asanga, the lineage of the profound view and the vast conduct, up to the glorious Atisha, in the holy land of India, the transmission lineage of the teachings has not been interrupted. In Jowo's biography, the Great Treatise on the Stages of the Path, it is said that the glorious Naropa entrusted the teachings to Jowo and then went south. Naropa entrusted the teachings to the great translator Marpa to tame the land of the snowy mountains.
