衰败之年百岁时，名为释迦牟尼之佛陀将出现。当其教法衰落之际，听闻将如何出现的征兆。归纳而言：双牛、双猴、旃檀粉，园林、水井、灶台、布匹。一头大象从窗户中出现，身体显现却未见尾巴，若见此景。那时出家人虽已舍弃家庭，却对寺庙怀有家的执念，无法舍弃，将会执着于此。庸常之象驱逐旃檀香象，若见此景，持戒不严者将持守三学之人，从其位子上驱逐，乃是先兆。猴子为猴群灌顶，若在梦中见到此景，堪布、阿阇梨等上师之位，不具功德之人亦居上师之位，行持并聚集弟子的征兆。被不净物沾染的猴子，为所有猴子系上不净之线，这是行为不轨之人，对持戒之人，宣扬过失并加以训诫的征兆。旃檀树高丽士之树干，与寻常树木树丛平齐，这是声明、量学、历算等外道典籍，与胜者之教令平齐的征兆。一捧面粉与一捧珍珠，若见二者交换，未来之时，为了如同外层面粉般的恶劣财物，贩卖如同珍珠般的正法的征兆。僧众们所有丰饶的园林，若见众多在家之人享用，未来之时，僧众聚集之门，（ག༣༥བ）大多被亲友和乡里之人等，聚集的在家之人享用的征兆。一个极度口渴之人，为了寻找水源，在荒凉的旷野中奔跑，一口充满八功德水的水井，追随着那个人，而那个人却，明明看见却不饮用，仍然寻找水源，你在梦中见到此景，未来之时，希求佛法、寻找佛法，若宣讲正法却不珍视其意义，然而仍然寻找之人将会出现的征兆。此外，国王，你在梦中，人们被分成一队一队，争论、争斗、争吵，若见此景，那时见

In the age of decline, when life spans reach one hundred years, a Buddha named Shakyamuni will appear. When his teachings are nearing their end, listen to the signs of how things will unfold. In summary: two oxen, two monkeys, sandalwood powder, gardens, wells, hearths, and cloths. An elephant emerges from a window, its body visible but not its tail; if this is seen. At that time, renunciates, though having abandoned their homes, will still cling to monasteries with the attachment of a householder, unable to let go, and will become attached to them. An ordinary elephant drives away a sandalwood-scented elephant; if this is seen, those with lax discipline will drive those who uphold the three trainings from their positions, a sign of what is to come. A monkey bestows empowerment upon a group of monkeys; if this is seen in a dream, it is a sign that those who lack the qualities of a Khenpo, Acharya, or other spiritual teacher will occupy the position of a teacher, acting as such and gathering disciples. A monkey stained with impurities ties impure threads on all the monkeys; this is a sign that those with improper conduct will proclaim the faults of those who uphold the precepts and admonish them. The trunk of a sandalwood tree, Gorṣī, is leveled with ordinary trees and shrubs; this is a sign that non-Buddhist scriptures such as grammar, logic, and astrology will be equated with the commands of the Victorious One. A bushel of flour is exchanged for a bushel of pearls; if this is seen, in the future, for the sake of vile wealth like outer flour, it is a sign that the true Dharma, like pearls, will be sold. The abundant gardens belonging to the Sangha, if many householders are seen enjoying them, in the future, the doors of the Sangha's gatherings, (ག༣༥བ) will mostly be enjoyed by householders gathered by relatives and local people. A person extremely thirsty runs through a desolate wilderness in search of water, and a well full of water with eight qualities follows that person, but that person, even seeing it, does not drink but continues to search for water; if you see this in a dream, in the future, those who desire the Dharma and seek the Dharma, if the true Dharma is taught, will not cherish its meaning, yet those who continue to search will appear.
