Therefore, each from the grassy giants said, "This teacher has long been our refuge and supreme in suffering. Since he has passed away near you, please give us a share of his relics. We will build precious stupas to make offerings." When they said this, the giants said, "We will do the same, we will not give you the relics." After they said this, they said, "Then we will seize it by war." So they gathered troops, and the giants also prepared to fight. At that time, a Brahmin together with Brevo, spoke the praise of the teacher's patience. If you like patience, for the sake of his relics, you should not kill each other. Please divide my relics equally into eight parts (catalog page 26). This vase will be offered by me." Having said this, everyone rejoiced and became harmonious, and divided into eight parts, the relics like mustard seeds, in Magadha there was a cartload. After giving each separately, the ashes of the relics were taken by the Brahmin Nyagrodhaskye, and stupas were built in each of the ten places in their respective lands. However, the share of Ajatashatru, together with this sutra, was buried in the land outside the city, hidden for the sake of King Ashoka. A hundred years after his death, a king named Ashoka will appear. At that time, a Bhikshu named Devasangha, took it out and subdued the king with this sutra. After that, this sutra will be placed in the northern direction, but no one will know. After Ashoka took out the relics, he will build eighty-four thousand stupas with relics throughout Jambudvipa. This is prophesied from the Sutra of the Manifestation of the Bodhisattva's Means of Practice. The share of the loud-sounding relics was taken by the Naga king and offered. One of the four teeth of Shakyamuni Buddha was taken by Indra and offered in the heavenly realm. The second is in the delightful city of Tsikjind, the third is in the land of King Kalinga, and the fourth is offered by the loud-sounding Naga king. Likewise, teeth and relics and other remains, are by gods, nagas, yakshas, rakshasas, as well as kinnaras, humans, and other beings.

Ris. In immeasurable places, they accomplished great deeds individually. The second branch of the Feast of Scholars, the Source of Dharma, is the first chapter, which specifically explains the deeds of the Teacher in the context of India. When the two supreme ones passed into Nirvana, eighty thousand Arhats and seventy thousand passed away. When the Teacher passed into Nirvana, Arhats, ten thousand and eight thousand, abandoned the remainder of the aggregates. The monks who had attained power became few, and the gods who could live for many kalpas, also passed away because the monks who had power also passed away. The Teacher's teachings became like smoke. In order to eliminate the mockery and sorrow of not proclaiming the Three Jewels, the Regent of the Sage, the Great Kashyapa, entrusted the excellent one with the divine eye, which was not interrupted. After making a vow, he entered the Samadhi of Knowledge, and after looking up to the peak of existence, he struck the Ghandi. Five hundred Arhats gathered without a single one missing. The Lord of Cattle is in the place of the Three Roots Deities. When the palace of Shiri Shika was empty, the one who was in cessation Samadhi did not hear it. Then the Great Kashyapa appointed Ananda to be the mirror of water, and other students returned from the first path to the central country. The Sangha and Ananda, like tourists, went to Magadha. The conduct of King Ajatashatru was such that when he rode horses, chariots, elephants, etc., and saw the Hearers of the Teacher, he would immediately lean over and bow his head to their feet. However, because the Sugata always thought of them, he did not allow it, and it was as if they were slowly falling to the ground. Thus, it is respect for the Victorious One's teachings. At this time, when the Great Kashyapa went to Magadha, the king saw him riding an elephant. When he leaned over from above, the Great Kashyapa, by his power, grabbed him from the sky and slowly placed him on the ground. The Teacher always remained in equanimity, and in order not to forget, in the past, you were not guilty of falling. That Teacher has already passed into Nirvana, (ག༢༧ན) There are noble beings in the Sangha, and the Arhats are not always in equanimity. Therefore, from now on, do not lean over. After the Great Kashyapa gave his promise, he urged, "We should study the Dharma in this place of the gods." The king was delighted and satisfied, and prepared all the necessary equipment.
