The sound of the six-syllable mantra resounds, and billions of rays of light emanating from it emerge from hundreds of millions of pores, purifying all the sins and habitual tendencies of the six realms of beings. Everything transforms into the sole form of Lord Avalokiteśvara, and with unwavering focus, one dwells in meditative absorption, devoted to reciting the six-syllable mantra. (500) By meditating in this way, clarity arises in meditative absorption. If meditation becomes tiresome, engage in recitation. Visualize a white lotus with eight petals at your heart, the petals facing upwards and downwards, and in the center, a moon disc upon which resides the white seed syllable ཧྲཱིཿ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hrih). Surrounding it is a white mantra garland of As you recite, the sound of the mantra clearly enters the ears of all sentient beings. Remaining in the state of unbornness, recite the six-syllable mantra as much as possible. Finally, the mantra garland at your heart dissolves into light. Its essence is letters, appearing as rays of light, filling from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet. All illnesses, evil spirits, and sins are purified. (501) Rays of light radiate outwards, touching all sentient beings, purifying their sins and habitual tendencies. Again, clearly visualize the mantra garland as before, recite, and alternate with the visualization of dissolving into light, doing as much as possible. Finally, meditate on the aforementioned compassion that pervades the sky, and recite as much as possible. When ending the session, visualize the mantra garland at your heart dissolving into the lotus seat, and then dissolving into the seed syllable ཧྲཱིཿ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hrih). The second is formless yoga. From the ཧྲཱིཿ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hrih) at your heart, rays of light emanate, touching sentient beings, and they all dissolve into light. Then light radiates to the outer world, and they also dissolve into light. Finally, (502) everything gathers and dissolves into the two accumulations, and the two dissolve into oneself. Oneself dissolves from top to bottom, dissolving into the ཧྲཱིཿ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hrih) at your heart, which also gradually dissolves into light, and visualize yourself transforming into the inconceivable state of luminous emptiness. In the unaltered realm of reality, relax your mind and body, and remain in equipoise for as long as possible. The third is subsequent yoga, which is divided into the main part and the incidental. First, when rising from that session, again visualize yourself instantly transforming into Avalokiteśvara

Think of yourself as transforming into the form with eleven faces and two hands. Conclude with dedications and aspirations such as "By this merit." During session breaks, contemplate the residence as a pure land palace, food as nectar of wisdom, and clothing as garments of the gods, enjoying them without attachment. Take the three aspects of appearance, sound, and thought as the path of the three secrets of the Buddhas, and spend time engaging in virtuous activities by accounting for the two aspects of Bodhicitta. Secondly, there are the yogas of bliss and emptiness in particular, and the common Bodhisattva path of explanation, continuation, and transference. If you wish to meditate, understand it from the instruction manual. If you wish to recite, maintain cleanliness and bathe, reciting the six-syllable mantra thirty-two hundred thousand times, or at least seven hundred thousand times, practicing the recitation for a period of three months to one month. It is best to see the deity directly, intermediate is to see the sublime form of the deity in a dream, hear the sound of the six-syllable mantra, and at the very least, dream of similar occurrences. Furthermore, seeing various auspicious signs such as bathing, wearing white clothes, the rising of the sun and moon, picking white flowers, finding a white crystal rosary, etc. (504) is the sign of approaching the deity. Manjushri and all the ten directions, the great spiritual friends who please the noble ones, are the pith instructions of the heart essence of Kyergaṅpa, the master of wisdom and compassion. This is the chapter title: The condensed essence of the red guidance of the Great Compassionate One according to the Kyergaṅ tradition. May there be auspiciousness! The instruction manual of the Great Compassionate One according to the Kyergaṅ tradition. Om Svasti Siddham! To the general realm filled with degeneration, and especially to the sole protector of the snowy mountains, after prostrating to the Lord of Compassion, develop his yoga practice of assembly and clarity. Secondly, the guidance on Avalokiteśvara (505), the all-pervading compassion, related to the oral tradition of the accomplished Kadamapa master Kyergaṅpa, is divided into three parts: preliminary, main practice, and concluding practice. First, the preliminary practices are divided into common and uncommon. The common practices are explained according to the view and guidance of the Sage. The uncommon preliminary practices are fivefold. The first is taking refuge: In a secluded place, abide on a comfortable seat with the qualities of meditative concentration. Visualize the ground transforming into a pure realm, and in the center, on a lion throne, lotus, and moon cushion at the five peaks of a wish-fulfilling tree, resides the guru Avalokiteśvara in the form of Khasarpāṇi.
