Direct your awareness to the graceful movements of the dancer. Then, the Lama Yidam offers to the essence of the body, speech, and mind of the Jetsunma as before, and prays, "Lama Rinpoche, please bestow upon me the fourth empowerment." After praying in this way, visualize the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ) emerging from the right nostril of the yogini, and the letter Ka (Tibetan: ཀ) emerging from the left nostril. Visualize a red Yungdrung (Tibetan: གཡུང་དྲུང་) symbol appearing between the eyebrows, and visualize it spinning rapidly. Then, the yogini dissolves into light and merges into oneself. One's own body also becomes like a mass of light, empty and clear. Allow the true nature of all phenomena to rest for a moment, like a cloudless sky. This purifies the obscurations of body, speech, and mind, and one should visualize receiving the fourth empowerment. Then, in the manner of looking at the Sambhogakaya from the Dharmakaya, visualize the illusory body appearing without inherent existence, like a reflection in a mirror. In this way, by focusing the mind on the Lama at the crown of the head and meditating, warmth arises. This is the introduction to the vase empowerment (457). If it is done as a joy empowerment, it is the joy that is experienced. In the center of directing awareness to the Ah (Tibetan: ཨཿ) at the throat, bliss arises in body and mind. This is the introduction to the secret empowerment. If it is done as a joy empowerment, it is supreme joy. At the time of directing awareness to the mandala of deities at the heart, non-conceptual thought arises in body and mind. This is the introduction to the wisdom-jnana empowerment. If it is done as a joy empowerment, it is the joy of separation from joy. At the Dharma-arising yogini, at the time of directing awareness to awareness, three non-conceptual thoughts of warmth and bliss arise in the mind. The essence of the three empowerments being one is the introduction to the fourth empowerment. If it is done as a joy empowerment, it is co-emergent joy. Then, offer the five offerings to the Lama once (458). The benefits of empowerment are: through this, one obtains the four empowerments that have not been obtained, restores those that have been obtained and lost, all sins are quickly exhausted, and ultimately one will directly see the body of great bliss. After co-emergent wisdom arises in the continuum, in this very life one will attain the ground of the fourteen great joys. Furthermore, there are three types of empowerment: the four empowerments that ripen the unripened, the path empowerment that liberates the ripened, and the fruit empowerment that perfects the liberated. Thus, in the Vajra Dakini Tantra it says: the basis depends on empowerment, and the cause also depends on empow

Born from, the path is entered through empowerment. (459) Among the five categories of profound Dharma treasures and secret practices of the glorious Shangpa Kagyu, is the category of the secret practice of Great Compassion according to the Kyergang tradition. (460) Om Svasti! To all beings in the entire world, Having gazed with eyes of compassion, Pacifying suffering, protector of the world, To that one I bow and explain the method of practice. First, to the supreme Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, etc., recite three times. Visualize yourself as Avalokiteshvara, from the HRIH (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉字字面意思:HRIH) at your heart, rays of light emanate. Great Compassion (461) The three deities, the main figure and retinue, in the sky in front, Vajra Sama Ja: Om Vajra Puspe Ah Hum, etc., offer up to Naivedya. Request all the Tathagatas to bestow empowerment. Om Abhisincatu Mam Sarva Tathagata. Having made this request, a stream of nectar flows from the right hands of the deities, starting from the crown of the head, washing the entire body (462), purifying the two obscurations. Om Sarva Tathagata Abhisekata Samaya Shriye Hum. With the water of the vase or conch shell, wash the face and mouth three times. The main deity dissolves into light, dissolving from your own crown of the head. Receive the vase empowerment. The six-syllable mantra also dissolves, receiving the secret empowerment. The one holding the jewel also dissolves, receiving the fourth empowerment of wisdom and knowledge, transforming into the state of the great seal, the union of appearance and emptiness. In the palms of the right and left hands, on the moon formed from the letter A, is the letter HRIH (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉字字面意思:HRIH), pouring nectar water onto it, the letter HRIH (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉字字面意思:HRIH) is washed away, transforming into a stream of milk, which the pretas drink and are satisfied, possessing the bliss of the Dharmakaya, returning to their own abodes. Recite HRIH (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉字字面意思:HRIH) and wash (463) your hands. Then, generate the four immeasurables of refuge and bodhicitta as in the common practice. Om Svabhava Vishuddha Sarva Dharma Svabhava Vishuddho 'Ham. From the state of emptiness, in the sky directly in front of the heart, the white HRIH (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉字字面意思:HRIH) melts, transforming into a large white bindu in the center, with a small white bindu on each side. These completely transform, transforming into the three deities, in the center transforming into the noble Avalokiteshvara, body color white like the sun rising on a snow mountain, possessing the splendor of a hundred autumn moons. One face, four arms, the first two arms joined at the heart in prayer position, the lower right arm holding a string of pearls.
