Offering to him from countless places and praying. Light or nectar arises from the Lama. Having invited it, it dissolves into the Lama's crown of the head. The sins and obscurations of the outer, inner, and secret body, I pray that the precious Lama bestow the vase empowerment upon me. The white stream of water purifying is the vase empowerment of the disciple. The throat is Nipa and everything of Nipa is the secret empowerment. The purification of the disciple's speech, the stream of water in the heart is wisdom. The purification of the disciple's mind, the stream of water (21) in the navel is the purification of the subtle habitual tendencies of the base, which is the fourth empowerment. Thus, it is the common and special vows.
