Just offering it as a Tsok of supreme bliss, it becomes an exceedingly joyful and excellent offering. Meditate that they bestow accomplishments that are in accordance with each of them. In this instance, for special recipients (39) and the sick, etc., do not add the ninefold assembly of demons. Although there are some who use it as a daily practice, since it is merely a fierce visualization that differentiates the blood offering, there is no need for a separate section. The differences in the order of visualization can be found in the larger notebooks. The remaining part of the Tsok ritual is: After offering and giving the body in this way, all the leftovers become a sea of flesh and blood, and a ground of bones within a skull cup that is as vast as the three realms. From that, emanates a skeleton Dakini who accepts the offering of the leftovers. Meditate on the retinue of the swift-footed Dakinis (40), the eight classes of gods and demons who have power over the leftovers, and the oath-bound, powerless ones who have never arrived before but suddenly appear, and who have no power except over the leftovers. Having been satisfied by the offering, all of them rejoice and promise to accomplish the activities. The subsequent procedures, first, the dedication and aspiration: Dedicate all the merit accumulated by oneself and others in the three times, and especially the root of virtue from giving the body at this time, severing the pride of self-grasping, so that all sentient beings may realize the intention of the unborn mother. Follow the dedication made by the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the past (41) and dedicate. Second, the dissolution stage: All the objects of refuge dissolve into light in a clockwise direction and in descending order, and merge into Machik. That itself becomes a sphere of light the size of a finger joint, radiating five colors, and descends from the crown of one's head. It sits in the center of the eight-petaled lotus in one's heart, in the posture of Vajra. Visualize the lotus in one's heart closing. However, in the daily practice of body offering, Machik also becomes a sphere of light the size of a swan's egg and dissolves from the crown of the head. This is the practice. Third, taking the path: In an instant, one appears clearly as the four-armed Avalokiteśvara who tames beings, and the beings of the six realms (42) circumambulate and pay homage. The rays of light emanating from one's heart transform all males into Avalokiteśvara and all females into Jetsun Tara. Meditate on the resounding sound of Om Mani Padme Hum and recite the six-syllable mantra. Finally, visualize the guests rejoicing

Therefore, contemplate that the one endowed with it has gone to his own place, and cultivate the view and intention of the unfabricated, innate Mahamudra. This is just a rough classification of the preliminary, main, and subsequent practices of body offering alone. If it is done from the perspective of the general Chöd practice of subduing demons, the preliminary practice is to generate renunciation for samsara, nail impermanence into the (43) heart, instill unwavering faith in the infallibility of karma and its results, and for those who lack fortune and are narrow-minded, take refuge and generate bodhicitta, purify obscurations, accumulate merit, and practice Guru Yoga as common practices. The main practice is to introduce the meaning of the Prajnaparamita, and gather the four maras into the Dharmadhatu. The subsequent practice is to cultivate experience, and to introduce asceticism into the path through the Chöd practice of peaceful cutting, fierce cutting, or half peaceful and half fierce cutting. In short, the body offering and the tsok feast are practices with extensive preliminary and subsequent instructions, and the main practice arises as a byproduct, and one must understand it in this way. However, most of those who are now called Chöd practitioners (44) seem to be only chasing after branches without grasping the root. Moreover, when introducing the meaning of the Prajnaparamita, one must first use the instruction of mind-holding to clarify the confusion of realization. The body adopts the seven-point posture of Vairochana, the speech is left natural, and the mind cuts off the proliferation of the three times, and then leaves awareness in its original state. If one cannot abide in this way, then focus the mind on the form of the deity in front of oneself, from the size of a vajra to the size of a mustard seed. If one still cannot abide in this way, then focus the mind on the body of Shakyamuni Buddha. When a faultless samadhi arises in the mindstream by adjusting the wildness, by looking at the essence of the abiding and moving one with inward-looking awareness, one will discover that the (45) appearances of objects, the movement of thoughts, and the essence of the knowing one are not established as separate, there is nothing to grasp, but anything can appear. This experience of clarity and emptiness does not cease, it is beyond words, it is free from all elaboration, it has the nature of space, this is the Prajnaparamita, it is the intention of the Buddhas of the three times, therefore one should always abide in this samadhi. Second, cutting the four maras in the Dharmadhatu. Forms and other external objects are the basis, the obstacle, and the attachment. If one generates thoughts of attachment and aversion towards them, that is a mara. If one is controlled by it, that is an interruption. Therefore, whenever (46) attachment and aversion arise, one should utter the syllable "Phat" at that moment and send it into the Dharmadhatu, that is attachment.
