Sa! Its essence is emptiness, and its nature is clarity. The play of compassion arises without ceasing. It is spontaneously accomplished as the three kayas from the very beginning. Even if you try to stop conceptual thoughts, they will not be completely stopped. If you do not stop them, let one thought arise, two thoughts arise, let them arise. When they arise, let them go wherever they go, let them be free. At that time, if you cannot find where they go, they will return. Like a crow flying from a pond, relax and abide like the ocean. Abiding without distraction in all circumstances is a little difficult to arise, so take it with small steps. However, do not be discouraged, maintain the key point continuously. Even if abiding is stable, if clinging is not released, you will not be able to transcend the three realms. The self-nature of realization is filled with the movement of conceptual thoughts. It is like not seeing the reflection of the moon when the water vessel is shaking. Therefore, first practice calm abiding, and then practice insight, which is the common path. In general, everything below Mahamudra takes mind as the path. The common aspects of Dzogchen are also in accordance with this. The uncommon instruction section is because it is said that awareness is the path. Therefore, it is not necessary to enter from the path of calm abiding. Naked awareness, free from addition and subtraction, if it matches with your own nature, it is enough to get used to it. However, if you do not match with your own nature without error, even if the instructions are profound, it will be difficult to arise in your mindstream. It is better for such a person to strive on the gradual path. No meditation, no distraction, abandoning mental fabrication, and spontaneous and ordinary awareness, and being free from concepts, these are the meanings of non-fabrication. Whether abiding or moving, if you are aware of it, you do not need to modify it. Remembering again and abiding again, the thought itself is a mistake. Just being aware, and abiding on top of that, letting it be, this is the common path of all accomplished ones. The way to integrate practice into the mindstream, the common ground of Madhyamaka, Chöd, Mahamudra, and Dzogchen, is to look nakedly at any arising conceptual thoughts in an unadulterated way, thereby making liberation the path. The path of the Dzogchen instruction heart essence is that for any arising conceptual thoughts, the one who knows the awareness looks at his own nature, and by looking inward, he can see the face of the nature of reality. The appearance of delusion, conceptual thoughts without support, naturally disappear. The former looks outward, so there is dualistic clinging. The latter looks inward, which is the non-dual nature, this is what I heard from the mouth of the wise and accomplished lama. Even so, for the way of liberation of conceptual thoughts, you need to have certainty and experience in the three stages. That is, according to Vimalamitra's view, conceptual thoughts

Liberation without before or after is like a child seeing a temple. Just seeing it, there is no thought of good or bad. Whatever thought arises, it dissolves in its own place, like a snake's knot unraveling in the sky. Just as it arises, it dissolves without an antidote. A thought that dissolves without benefit or harm is like a thief entering an empty house. Whether it happens or doesn't happen, there is neither gain nor loss. In summary, after understanding the key points of practice, while not letting external behavior be controlled by the mundane, know to what extent inner effort can be relaxed as a sign of gaining stability. So-called no-meditation is also the exhaustion of effort. Although there is nothing to meditate on in reality, there is something to become accustomed to. For the sake of habituation, cherish eating, sleeping, walking, dwelling, etc., and do not indulge in distraction. When dwelling alone, relax and maintain your natural state. When gathering with many, clearly display awareness and alertness. Because the nature of awareness and alertness is nothing at all, although there is nothing to cling to, it is necessary to maintain oneself. Because it is awareness-emptiness, it is slightly difficult to grasp. Although difficult, if you get used to it, it will come like meeting an acquaintance. Whatever arises of appearance, sound, and thought, is nothing more than its transformation, without a single particle of substance. Especially in the oral instructions of Ati Yoga, it is said to distinguish between mind and awareness. Because the mind cannot grasp the luminosity of its own nature, it has a turbid aspect, and it is difficult to cut off the flow of thoughts, this is the mind. Knowing that there is no object, seeing the luminosity of one's own nature. The clear part exists like a lamp, this is the latter. Like fear, without an object, shimmering. When it arises, recognizing it, certainty arises. The flowing emptiness of awareness is said to be unborn liberation. This is not empty talk, but a teaching transmitted from the mouth of the guru, like heart's blood. Do not show it to those who break vows and frivolous people, etc., the protectors of mantra will guard it closely. For the unaltered Dharma nature, always, there is no need for "Ture (Tibetan: ཏུ་རེ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: तुरे, Sanskrit Romanization: ture, Chinese literal meaning: swift)", just remember for a moment (Tibetan: ཕོག་ཅིག་དྲན་), "enough (Tibetan: ཆོག་)", the Kagyu lamas say. By meditating on the essence, the karmic obscurations of many eons are purified, and the winds naturally enter the central channel, and so on, the benefits are beyond description. If you recognize your own nature, you recognize one thing, and everything is liberated. If the mind is weak and it is difficult to maintain without support, then follow your own disposition and remember and hold onto the creation stage, etc. When guarding the unestablished, merge the expanse and awareness, like displaying the essence in the center of the sky.
